So winning a trophy with your “boyhood” club or winning the Bundesliga I know what I’d go for. Realistically the only league for me that outweighs my argument is La Liga.
I understand the sentiment, winning something with your childhood team is something any fan will put as a priority But you can't question Kane imo, he followed this logic for almost 10 years.

He has a real chance to win not only the Bundesliga but also the UCL (Bayern with him is the second best team in Europe in my opinion). For his legacy to be greater there than here as the greatest PL scorer of all time, he needs to win the UCL, and he has that chance in my opinion.

It's all very hypothetical though. We haven't won anything since 2008 and shown no sign of getting closer to be fair. Bayern winning titles is a sure thing. Spurs is very much a what if scenario. He's already had about 9 seasonal attempts to win something here.

Exactly, how many posts are there about us keeping Kane and winning something this season?

I love the optimism, but as you say, we haven't won anything since 2008, and we won't have won an FA Cup for over thirty years! Kane wasn't even born the last time we won the FA Cup.

Ally Gold made a great point. This would obviously be brilliant for Bayern. But is it really that brilliant for Kane and family?

The fact is that the Bundesliga does not have the global audience the PL does. Doesn't do much for the Kane brand does it, go to a club to win a trophy they've won 11 times on the bounce?

Sad, sad day if he goes.

That is more of an indictment of how badly you want and need to get out of Levy's Tottenham if you want success as a player unfortunately

It sounds as if the ball has been in his court for a week. so the only thing that is possibly new is that BM improved the terms and/or the acceptance from over a week ago leaked out. I'm going to go with Trix's opinion on this and the avatar stays for now.

I think it's a number of things tbh. Ange, his family, lack of push from Bayern, Kyle Walker deal not happening, Madison coming in etc etc.

I'll hopefully have a bit more later on today as well on this, to follow up on WLB info and my post from yesterday morning.

Its very complicated and I still wouldn't rule anything out as yet but it's definitely looking more positive if you are in the Kane to stay camp.

Theres no way Bayern would still be bidding if Kane wasn't interested anymore. They will have been in touch with his representatives throughout every step of the process. I think it's Cheerio Harry unfortunately.

Just a shame that it means most of this month will be written off with us desperately scrabbling round for a replacement.

I really hope the likes of Barca and Madrid are now on the phone to Charlie telling him not to do the BM deal as they will want him next summer. Throw some more doubt into his mind about moving now and missing out of better opportunities in the future.

I think the argument is being the all-time greatest goal scorer in PL history is more of a significant legacy than winning a few German titles or even a CL trophy for that matter. When people talk about Alan Shearer, it’s always followed by his goal scoring record, not the fact that he won a league title with Blackburn.

Look, if kane spoke to Levy and said he would be interested in leaving, then I'd expect levy to have agreed a figure that he will let him go for.

If bayern reached what we set out, then we owe it to kane to let him make the choice.

It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.

It's Levy's fault that Kane didn't turn up in the finals he played in?

He has already had success as a player. If the only criteria to success is to have any trophy then 95%+ of top level footballers are unsuccessful. 🤷‍♂️

Didn't dortmund lose haaland and have a better season as a result? Ironically against bayern .... haaland outscored kane who is now going to bayern. Cyclical isn't it.... we should therefore push city as a result... calm yourselves down I've figured it all out... coys
