Good Afternoon, having spent the last 13 days reading every page, I am currently at 11:03 this morning, however I digress. Not sure if this has been mentioned before, what I would love about this whole sordid transfer saga, is…..When Spurs and Shitty finally agree a deal (whatever that may be) call the Chuckle brothers in and explain the deal has been done, and all they have to do is submit a transfer request, Oh to see their faces…comedy gold. Anyway that’s it, I am going back to 11:03 to read the next (previous?) pages. COYS.
I hadn't thought of that angle. But can totally seeing Levy doing that if the offer is lower than he wants / shitty are messing about with add ons. Hey, Charlie. So, yiu want to make this deal happen. Fine. No loyalty bonuses and it's done.

Saddens me so much that I'd almost be pleased at that (then wake up and been gutted at losing a generational player)

I don't know about that. I think image is quite important to Kane. He won't like being disliked by Spurs fans. That's why he issued that statement, desperately trying to save face!

Yeah, perhaps he should have tried apologising for his actions rather than just say how much our support has meant to him. A simple apology would have done wonders, and it shouldn't have taken FIVE days after he arrived back to an absolute shitstorm, to issue it.

OK, so I'm a grumpy old git.

Yep, I still don't get Lo Celso's strength. He lacks physicality, his pass is not great, same as his shooting. He is not good defensively. And yet people are hating Ndombele while, for me, Lo Celso has done nothing so far considering that they both came to Spurs at the same time

They've both been massively underwhelming for different reasons.

Lo Celso I don't think we have even seen enough of him to see his strengths and weaknesses yet. He can't seem to get a run without picking up injuries.
NDombele has supreme talent but doesn't seem to have the attitude to go with it. Bentley Mk2, albeit in a different position.

What a waste of the best part of £100m. Not that I'm blaming the club or Levy. They both looked like real coups for us.

Redknapp is more of a media whore than Stanley Johnson.

For anyone who didn't see the interview it was done by Matt Chapman the betting guru who is one of us so that's how Redknapp was asked about Spurs and not about the horse racing which Redknapp loves.

The problem with Lo Celso is he seems to do nothing particularly well. There is nothing outstanding in his game. Plus his injuries.

Let's hope he turns it around and does well but he will never be at Fernandes level.

I feel very much this. I just don't see what he offers other than his weird tugging down of his shirt that he's constantly doing. He's had a few nice passes and at times worked hard, but surely that's the base level for any EPL midfielder?

We should absolutely be blaming Levy and the club. They're the ones who are supposed to be experts. They'er supposed to scout and understand what they're buying, but every single expensive transfer turns to shit. At some point you have to stop blaming the players and blame those who bought them in the first place. 10m on Jack fucking Clarke too makes me angry. Not to mention 30m on Sissoko. We miss spend worse than most.

What are you doing here Charlie ? Anything less than £150 MILLION is a disgrace.

Well I’m glad that got a measured reaction out of you. It depends on the add ons but I’d rather have 140 and achievable add ons than 150 with nothing anyway, but why not engage rather than accuse someone of being Charlie Kane because they don’t agree with you.

£140m would be the third biggest transfer ever. It would be over £30m more than has ever been paid for a 28 year old before. It would come with add ons with a good chance of coming in as well. So, apart from you shouting that it’s a DISGRACE why rationally is anything less than 150m unacceptable? We would get much less next year and clubs are cash poor right now, so the extra money will go further

The failure was Poch’s. Remember we bought them one year after he put his foot down and said give me my targets or give me no one. Six months after turning his nose up at Tielemans and allowing Dembele to leave the club without being replaced. The club was willing to back Poch because of all of the credit he’d banked, but it turns out that Poch is a really, really awful scout of a player.

A bit of a over reaction..... he wants to win trophies. He signed the contract yes...but in essence it's meant to protect the clubs asset and get a return on their investment. We not competing for trophies. Let him move on. Whats important is that we invest WISELY with the cash received and come out stronger as a club.

All the angst for a player who made it very clear over the years that he is happy to stay if we competing. We not competing and has a desire to move on. Our anger should be towards our owners who have fiddled along for 4 years. I bear no grudge/disdain or disappointment in HK. He is looking after his future and all the best to him with that.

The issues of the last 2 weeks is just a side show to what was inevitable. his behavior in doing that interview before the season ended was amateurishfor certain. So many on here are behaving worse than jilted lovers. Let him move on and be thankful we had a world class player in our team who our owners failed to build something special around him.

Hmm. Gotta get your Levy/ENIC/Ownership blame game in there, I guess.

Yeah, We're all behaving like jilted lovers & poor Kane has been nothing but hard done by, whilst being given constant improved contracts, resulting in him becoming the highest paid player in the history of the club.

You're right, though. We've clearly not been competing for trophies. The owners have not provided Kane the opportunity to win trophies at all & have repeatedly let him down.

I've seen nothing from Clarke that suggests he's going to be a success in a Spurs shirt.

Many, many people here said the same about Kane at age 20. Some even went as far as to say that he would struggle to be a PL level player, and has been ribbed about it ever since.

Patience is a virtue. He might make it, he might not. At least a year too early to tell.

Coopsie I love you to bits....but it's classic jilted lover behaviour in your reply. I honestly blame them for the situation . once in a generation talent, awesome manager who tried his best...great squad who many on here said 4 yrs back needs to be improved. It's our doings as a club that we find ourselves in this situation...not Harry Kane. He has 1 limited career. He wants the move. Let him go.. ..

Now I'd feel differently if we were competing and winning trophies. But we not.... so I'll never begrudge him the move.
