Jermaine Jenas has kicked-off the Fabio Capello era with the first goal of the new England manager's reign in tonight's friendly against Switzerland at Wembley.
Starting in a five-man midfield, JJ has often been the furthest forward supporting lone striker Wayne Rooney and his efforts were rewarded in the 40th minute.
Steven Gerrard started the move with pass wide left to Joe Cole, who beat his man, reached the byline and cut the ball back perfectly for JJ to tap in with his left foot from six yards.
England won 2-1.
