Thing is though, the actual cost of the deal will be double that. Can only imagine the wages and signing on and agent fees etc

It's going to be one of the most expensive deals in history regardless of the fee, which still is actually pretty high.

Apparently he is demanding 1mil per week… not kidding
Well, he can demand all he wants. He will get a load of offers obviously. But he will either choose the highest wage or football decision. If neither are 1 mill a week it’s not like he will not sign for anyone.

Haaland will be a Ronaldo/Ibrahimovic type who will move around all the big clubs in Europe every 3 or so years - picking up a fat wage and signing on fee every time.

Bit harsh on Ronaldo for that remark. Only played for 4 teams since 17 years old?? And his first was about 6 months. ?

Not being harsh at all, I just think Haaland will be the type to move clubs a lot.

Ronaldo wasn’t like Messi, he wanted to experience different leagues and be the best in each one.

you literally compared Ronaldo with Zlatan! Ronaldo has basically not moved clubs every 3 seasons. Ever.

I'd guess that they're in the race but I think he'll end up at Man Utd despite his agent not liking them (he also doesn't like Pep).
Just seems lewandowski is a 34 year old next year. And they haven’t yet dived in the market. Standard German league theme is to move to Bayern

And his dad does not like Roy Keane.

But back on topic - it will be interesting to find out over the next few weeks what competition we actually have for Vlahovic.

+ another 50 in agents fees, I'm sure...
FIFA's new agent rules are due to come into force on 1st January next year, which limits the commission that agents can earn. The maximum is something like 3% of the player's salary plus 10% of the transfer fee.

I know the agents were very unhappy about the new rules, and threatening legal action, but I think they're still coming in next year anyway.

That would mean that this current window is the last opportunity for agents to receive uncapped commissions for player transfers.

EDIT: Just checked and it looks like the rules have been pushed back a bit - now due to come into force in July next year.
