Yeah, you know it.Few, thank god for that because i bet people wouldve gone batshit mental throwing out truly terrible takes if we lost to Southampton.
So why bring him up?
We also know Poch vetoed at least two transfers in that very same window at the end.
Revisionist shit after the fact.
People were fucking CREAMING themselves in the summer over the business we did, it currently looks like a fucking festering shit heap at the moment.
Nope, but they were mooted by trusted itk ... Obviously if you choose not to believe then that's fine too - Poch had his say and good for him.Do we? Who were they?
Because it’s a further example of ownership fucking about not getting deals done and letting a couple million getting in the way of really good business. How much better might we look with Grealish and Pereira? Levy fucked up both.
What players did Poch turn down? Tielemans in January, not the summer. Who else?
Clearly you’re from the DL school of thought however transfer spend correlates significantly with winning the big prizes, this is true across the globe. We could have won a trophy or two over the last 4-5 yrs but those domestic cups were 3rd and 4th choice given what we investing on the pitch. If you are spending hundreds of millions then clearly you want them all ala Man City but with what we were spending just challenging and staying top 4 was already an achievement. This is the thing I fail to understand we have got to semi finals and finals with squads capable of winning but simply blew it, that's got nothing to do with transfer spend. Fucking hell we were in a race with Leicester for the title but again came up short despite having a better squad than them. We managed to fluke our way to a CL Final and didn't turn up. The fact of the matter the squad we had over the last 4-5 years was more than capable of winning something, anything, but whatever the reason we didn't.
Well JJ confirmed we were in on Pereira and then the deal was dead, Leicester bought him the next Summer. Grealish, everyone and their mom knows Levy tried to low ball them for too long, new owners came in and he tried to get the price back under the old owners, then they told him to fuck off. What evidence do we have that we (or Levy) fucked up them? Do we have any evidence we did or did not to try sign them? Do we have any evidence they did or did not to want to sign if we did try to sign them?

He earned the right to say no to shit. Info leaked by the club ?. Poch in a press conference in 2018 said ‘which manager would not want to sign new players’. I know who I trust between club and Poch. But hey we’ve got a shiny new stadium and amazing training facilities so what’s the problem?!Nope, but they were mooted by trusted itk ... Why would he be willing to play for Leicester and not Spurs? If our offer was too bad then that would have been our fault...?Why was Pereira deal dead? He did not want to play for Spurs or was the offer too bad? Do the moms know if Grealish wanted to leave Villa in the first place?
He okayed the likes of Moura and Serge ... Two players currently not exactly lighting it up - or do they not count because they're not up to standard? He earned the right to say no to shit. Yes, its clearly only a loss vs Southampton. Thats all this is about.LOL at the usual suspects pushing their agenda, only took a loss to Southampton for them to be tilted again.
Good times.
Where was all this noise when we were winning a few games? Nah, didn't think so.Yes, its clearly only a loss vs Southampton. Thats all this is about.
I have absolutely no clue. That is why I was asking. Although Leicester win the Prem recently. And doing much better than we atm.Why would he be willing to play for Leicester and not Spurs? If our offer was too bad then that would have been our fault...?
No agenda pal, We are supporters of the club which mainly is driven by what goes on the pitch. I have believed what I believe about Levy for many years and I have always hoped I was mistaken, years later I am still waiting. Love is blind they say.LOL at the usual suspects pushing their agenda, only took a loss to Southampton for them to be tilted again.

Driven by what goes on, on the pitch, obsessed by what happens off of it.No agenda pal, We are supporters of the club which mainly is driven by what goes on the pitch.
