This is the thing I fail to understand we have got to semi finals and finals with squads capable of winning but simply blew it, that's got nothing to do with transfer spend. Fucking hell we were in a race with Leicester for the title but again came up short despite having a better squad than them. We managed to fluke our way to a CL Final and didn't turn up. The fact of the matter the squad we had over the last 4-5 years was more than capable of winning something, anything, but whatever the reason we didn't.

Clearly you’re from the DL school of thought however transfer spend correlates significantly with winning the big prizes, this is true across the globe. We could have won a trophy or two over the last 4-5 yrs but those domestic cups were 3rd and 4th choice given what we investing on the pitch. If you are spending hundreds of millions then clearly you want them all ala Man City but with what we were spending just challenging and staying top 4 was already an achievement.
There is one fact however, 1 trophy in 19yrs.

No agenda pal, We are supporters of the club which mainly is driven by what goes on the pitch. I have believed what I believe about Levy for many years and I have always hoped I was mistaken, years later I am still waiting. Love is blind they say.
