Yes it was an awful fight to watchI just watched the highlights, fuck me that was as boring as hell, punch, punch, grab, punch, punch, grab. If that was the highlights I don't know how people managed to stay awake for the whole match.
Fury knew he had the advantage in range so fought at a distance and ducked his head in to wlad while grabbing on everytime they got within each others range
Wlad looked scared to fight on the inside and incapable of adapting his style to fighting a bigger man as he tentatively pawed his jab from a distance and never really looked to close the gap or throw his right with any bad intention (not until the last round when he very nearly had tyson out of there)
I really hope they don't have a rematch - their respective styles make for an ugly and boring right
Personally I want fury to fight wilder next though I suspect if he isn't obligated to rematch wlad he will instead take a relatively easy defensive instead of jumping straight in to a unification bout
It's certainly made the division a lot more exciting from a UK perspective - potential fights with haye and AJ in addition to a unification with wilder all out there now
Even if Dillion White can avoid getting destroyed by AJ he could throw his name in the mix in the future and there could be some very significant domestic fights at the weight (the biggest since then benn, eubank, Watson era)
