such a shame. That bloody ex scum birmingham player.

He's so young though, we'll just have to hope hes back for pre season training and can fire us on full cylinders next year.

Gilberto will have to find his feet quickly.

Or. Or we could play the left back who has played the majority of games for us in that position over the last three years.

Sorry for being crazy.

big shame for the lad...god knows who we will have in his position when he gets back and IF he will be the same player as before the injury (always a concern with a long term injury)

:-(

the good thing is he will now get a proper recovery, as well as the pre season. With an injury like that its always a risk to bring the player back too soon and then get injured again so im glad the club are showing common sense. Testament to how he started his Spurs career that i'm gutted about this news

OR, we could not and play someone better.

Sorry for being sensible.

(Gilberto will fit in fast, he's too experienced not to.)

Bad news.

But the good news is that next season he will be like having a fantastic new signing.

I think that is exactly why Gilberto has to find his feet quickly!

Lets pray Lee doesn't play the majority of games of the next three years!

Looks like we'll have Lee checking back onto his right foot for the rest of the season...
Lets hope Gilberto settles in quickly

Wow. Good Lee hating.

Probably our most consistent player over the last 2 and a half years. Jeez.

I bet none of you have seen Gilberto play. Aside from that YouTube video of him against Japan. GrassIsGreenerCommunity.

I have seen a few of his games(on TV) and he should be an improvement on Lee, the left foot on the left makes a big difference. Not knocking Lee though he has a place in the squad.

Suspected this all along. Big loss but I'm sure Lee/BAE/Gilberto can do the job

(Assuming BAE actually recovers this season)

I had my suspicions when he came hobbling with his crutches on to the pitch to celebrate after the Arsenal game.
