This piece of news made laugh...
With the vacant technical director role expected to be filled by Edu after he parts with Brazil following Copa America – which ends after pre-season begins – Arsenal are being led by a five-man band with no obvious frontman. It is little wonder they are being heckled off the stage by a disgruntled support.
Highlights exactly how much of a mess they are in. Everything in this article explains how one minute they've apparently 'agreed terms' with one player only for it to never materialise and another 'story' break out. Could one of those involved be sounding out a player getting them on board only for the others to renege on the deal?
Just look at AFTV transfer rumours - it's a different player every couple of days. I laugh at how excited they seem to get with these links, as they don't really seem to see how much of a mess they are in. There is no focused strategy, no synergy, no main influencer or general, football tells you that this very rarely works out for the best. Ha!
They finished 1 point behind us last season.

I agree. We have got bragging rights absolutely and get the lucrative draw of the champions league next season, but the table shows that there was 1 point difference between the team's performances over the season.
We lost 3 more games in the league than them and United, and we lost just as many games as Wolves. 13 games out of 38 we lost. More than a third.
Arsenal have a big rebuilding job. They need a new defence (they conceded 51 in the league compared to our 39 - Newcastle, Wolves, Everton and Leicester conceded fewer than Arsenal) and a number of midfielders, but 1 point is the difference.
Does that mean we need to rebuild? Maybe not as much but most people agree we need a new RB, centre back should Toby leave (likely), 2 central midfielders, a replacement for Eriksen and another option up top, so that's 6 players to increase our chances of improving on our points tally from last season
Overall our squad is better than theirs, but the summer transfer window is going to be key - these things turn very quickly and with the very small margin between the teams last season, the purchases are going to be pivotal to who gets bragging rights next season. I just hope it continues to be us.
View attachment 51528 Not sure if the financials are correct but any excuse to laugh at Arsenal.
I truly don't get this fixation on Arsenal.
Youth I wish! They're our main rivals; our arch-enemies, going back over 100 years!
Don't you read stories? I tell you, no sense of narrative in the youth today
Youth I wish!
Arsenal are just one of many rivals, no where near as amusing as say west ham which have far more entertaining and amusing stories. With far higher comedic values!
You missed out the $5billion stadium that they're building, in the expenditure column
They did but its also fair to note just how much of a difficult season that it was for us. No preseason for many of our core players, ridiculous injury list, stadium disruption, huge energy sapping CL games and Wembley. They finished 1 point behind us last season.

Of course we need to get recruitment right this summer otherwise we won't be flying high but I think our situation is much more positive.
You, sir, are a bully! Kicking an inferior when they're down...
They are a pretty funny club though. They remind me a bit of a British sit-com from the late 70s, complete with bawdy humour, sleazy characters and scenarios that always end up in disaster. We certainly love our tragic losers in the UK
I agree...margins are not that huge...when you think we were the only team in the top four who qualified for CL but never won a competition last season...it shows just how tight it was and will be again for that fourth spot.I agree. You're missing a whole load of context there.
Make you 100% there Kev.When Arsenal famously pushed us into 3rd place in the 2 horse race in 2015/16 the stats will forever show
they were above us by one point.
One point above them this year is massive - worth millions of pounds and trillions of laughs.
