I wonder what the odds are on Arsenal to get 2 points from their opening 10 games.

Whilst Arsenal losing their golden boot winner to China of all places would be hilarious, I reckon this is just him trying to get a new deal. That's fine by me as it'll either eat into their meagre budget or cause him to start sulking.
I don't know what he's on at the moment, but there's no way they'll buckle to 300k for a 30 year-old who relies on pace.

Happy days.

The goons are on a 1 way street to mid table! They have too much of a tide against them with the other top 5 playing big. No cl, squad is shot to pieces with only 3 or 4 max of the level required to compete where they are hoping to. The best they can hope for is having a 'plucky little side'.
Wolves, Leicester and everton will be surpassing them with talent on the football pitch.

I'd love to share the optimism that they are on a one way ticket to mid table, but find it unlikely at the moment. Despite their squad mostly resembling a bunch of also-rans, they were basically level with us this season and could easily have ended up taking 4th. Plus despite their abysmal performance in the final they still made it to the EL final. I don't see Wolves or Leicester catching them up - would need to see some evidence of that being likely first.

Aubameyang is being offered over 300k/pw by a Chinese club. Let's see if Arsenal has to match that now.

I never hold much stock in this, but someone posted on coys that he has removed arsenal from his social media bio.

The fragile Arsenal fan base will implode if either Aubameyang or Lacazette leave their club. Big fallout. Hopefully.

This is why it’s so important that they stay out of the champions league for as long as possible. They won’t be able to keep paying the huge salaries for these players. They’d probably be sensible cutting their losses on one of them so they can improve the squad in other areas.

Don't think they'll end up in mid table but I think it's going to be very difficult for them to mount a challenge for top four, they should have really taken advantage last season when we were at our lowest ebb and they couldn't even do that, they are losing Ramsey, Koscielney, Cech and don't have much money to spend in the summer. I don't really hold much hope for them going forward.

At least their fans have AFTV and Arsemania as outlets to vent their frustrations. It isn’t all bad, after all.
