Giving praise and credit when it's due isn't twerking for another club. This tribal mentality is ridiculous. I get the hatred but sometimes there are over the top comments about the other club (as we see in the what opposition fans are talking about thread when it comes to us).

I think they'll fall off when the schedule gets tight and tougher opposition comes along. Fulham won't be easy next weekend like Bournemouth.

But for now you can only beat what's in front of you and they've done that. Jesus looks sharp already. Saliba seems a good player. I saw Zinchenko encouraging his teammates which I think they desperately needed to have someone actually talk to the players on the pitch mid game.
No surprise who disagreed with this. ?

It's football and it's tribal, I feel sick when so many on here are considering them the new man City after three games.

Maybe it's the right thing to do but i don't pretend to be better than this, I don't like it, hate them and won't do more than admit that they are decent.
You can say they look good and better than last year without equating them to being City, because so far they actually are. At least from what I've seen. They've been clinical and ruthless. Will it last? Highly unlikely. But it's not twerking to say they look good at the moment.

Some here sound like the very opposition fans who we laugh at for their over the top inane comments.

Arsenal are playing just as well as last season. New additions can only make them stronger. Their sesson will be tougher for sure and pressure will mount because of their failure last season (not getting fourth was a gigantic failure ). Arteta, is only a couple of back to back defeats away from a supporters melt down. They will do well in Europe but slip up in the PL, they will be stretched.

He blames the tactics for getting sent off...? Did those tactics also tell him to shoulder Sonny in the face, right in front of the ref?

Jesus. I know footballers are all pretty thick, but he makes most of them look like geniuses. What a fuckhead.
Actually that's quite likely, roughing up Sonny was clearly a tactic from the start, it was deliberate and had obviously been decided beforehand. The fact that Holding is crap at it and lost his temper is another matter.

Do they run courses for their players on what the gooner fans will lap up? Zinchenko's fake Reguilón style reaction to Sabila's goal gets him graduating with honours.

I’ve been of the opinion arsenal will drop off as harder games and Europe kick in, but their impressive start is undeniable.

All the talk is about Jesus but Zinchenko and Saliba are good additions to the side too. We’ve seen first hand what 3 good first team players can add (Romero, Bentancur, Kulu). We’ll finish above them but we can’t take them lightly.

Against Palace and Leicester their defence looked suspect but in all three matches their attack looked really good I thought. Jesus is obviously good and I think Martinelli is going to be a great player but their frontline are all good players and work well together.

But beyond the two substitute full backs (Tomyasu and Tierney), Smith-Rowe and possibly Nketiah as well they don't have anyone else in their squad that comes into the first 11 without causing the quality to drop considerably. Arteta clearly thinks the same as he hasn't made a substitution earlier than 73 mins in any game (although they've been leading in all those games, maybe he'd go earlier if they were behind?).

Same starting 11 every time, too. He doesn't trust his squad and he's right not to. They've had agreeable fixtures and that's before Thursday/Sunday kicks in and at that stage they will most likely struggle in many games against better teams than Palace/Leicester/Bournemouth. They won't sustain anything close to their present levels with their current squad. And will most likely continue to do the arsenal crumble when the pressure is on because neither Jesus nor Zinchenko are leaders.

And don't lets start with that fking anaemic North London Forever song! Jesus wept. Weird club.

Zinchenko? Did you actually watch the WC qualifying games? The ones where Zinchenko was the Captain? I promise you he is the material. Out of the two he won’t crumble gooner style.

He won’t no, but I’ve watched him be at fault but numerous goals in the big games. He’s not an elite full back at all and the good sides will exploit the amount of space they leave down that side.
Imagine Kulu, salah, Mahrez, Bowen all getting that much space constantly in behind….

No, I admit I didn't watch him for Ukraine. But I more meant that I don't see him or Jesus leading them Keane or Ronaldo style against adversity. I've never seen Zinchenko being that guy for City, more just a dependable sort. I can't see him dragging the rest of the team across the line with him but I could be wrong of course.

I think Woolwich need a player who just can't accept mediocrity but I don't see either of those two former bench warmers addressing that. From the few times I've seen Saliba though he looks like he has a bit of potential to be that leader. Very early days there though of course.

Not really fussed about Neto to Arsenal. Good player with potential, but I haven't seen anything that makes me think this is the boy, or not against us at least. If they pony up 60m for him, good luck to them.

Depressing if they get Neto. They seem to have sorted their recruitment out significantly.
I can’t see them getting him unless they move Pepe on for ok money.
Neto just signed a long term contract and wolves don’t need to sell, why would they?

The biggest shame if they were to get Neto is I actually like Neto! Signing there would transition him to a trash human being who I dislike immediately and with no real reason…. Which would be a shame as, as I say, I like him currently!

I think that's a bit of a pipedream link. Even the Ornstein article leant that way. That said you never know with Mendes.

Swiss ramble did a piece earlier saying they are likely nearing their FFP limit. I wonder if they end up signing Tielemans but no forward.

He was poor defensively versus Palace, better teams would have exploited that.

He is weak in 1v1s

Imagine any signings they make will be dependant on getting the likes of Pepe, Bellerin and Maitland-Niles out the door (or at least their wages)

Arsenal have a good team. If you deny it or say they shouldn't get praise then you are just being wilfully biased. If you wanna live that way that's fine but it doesn't really add to a discussion by just saying 'Arsenal are shit and we are spurs and should never praise them'

They are a good team. I am hoping that the Europa league, games every 3 days will drag them down. Injuries, fatigue will be a factor. I think their over performance is partially down to the game a week high intensity they can throw into games.

They are a small side and a small squad so hopefully they will start to struggle.
