I think that's what @Phomesy might have been getting at.No. Who is saying that? They battled to keep it at 2-2 when Arsenal were on top.

That looks terrific on paper. In a couple of months time (or earlier if they are all fit) I’d like to see a starting 11 like this -
Lloris
Foyth - Toby - Verts - Sess
Ndombele- GLC
Son - Eriksen - Dele
Kane
Dier was injured most of last year.I have no idea what you are basing this on. Dier, foyth were 2nd string last year. We are tactically incohesive. We are slow going forward and disjointed at the back with no real middle to speak of. It's scary to watch us. There is no team out there I would say we are 100% sure to beat. I thought that last week and look what happened.
Regarding Winks, You are seeing individual moments that look good. He is not controlling games at all, be it today, or against sides parking the bus. I honestly don't know what you are watching. No pressing, no risk taking, no passing range, just a few good interceptions and tackles, which is what you expect in that position.
I agree totally about Sanches. MAdness. and Moura, pace in the last 15 would have been an asset.
Short answer no, Sissoko is our best defensive midfielder
Sets him apart from what?Agreed about Winks. Not a bad player but nothing sets him apart
Look if we beat Newcastle points wise all is good
We need ndombele lo Celso Sessegnon Foyth back and we will look very strong
Sets him apart as any kind of great player. He is bordering on mediocreSets him apart from what?
He can kick the ball alright but his final ball/shot is usually crap
Like I've explained before, I think people need to adjust their expectations of him.
He had a very good game today.
Agree, him and Sissoko are like oil and water. He needs a complimentary partner too
I would be too, having wiped the floor with the opposition.Dier was injured most of last year.
Foyth is developing and had a very impressive Copa America.
I think you need to wait before throwing the towel in.
I was very worried last week. But Poch's talk and the performance today have gained some of that positivity back.
Remember we were supposed to lose 4-1 today.
Look at the reaction from the Arsenal fans. Gutted they didn't win.
Townsend would tear up that French league.Come on mate £72m for s bit of pace and control - created fuck all during the game and only thing he did of note was spank it wide and over about 10 times.
