You could paint that another way. I've seen pros say it take's around 5 game weeks to get into the swing of the Premier league for most teams, maybe playing harder fixtures first, and getting results could be a boon, especially when you take into account injuries. Playing more testing fixtures might also help the team build resilience.
We shall see.
Yeah you have point for sure..... but I see positives to their supposed easier schedule. Let's see where we both stand at the halfway stage of the season.

For sure their schedule is a positive for them. Even last season they had no issues with these kind of games and now they are even better. We'll have to wait for more serious opponents and europa league football to see how much they've changed.

Likely being on 24 from 8 games before the NLD is annoying, would give them loads of confidence to continue their run.

Most people keep using their easy set of fixtures thing.....but what having those allows them, is the opportunity to bed in the new players AND develop a proper rhythm whilst having those easy fixtures. By the time the hard games come they've honed their playing style....the players are all comfortable with each other.

Just look at our disjointed performances in the 1st 3 games. I'd have taken their "easy" fixtures any day..... its not that they have easy fixtures..... they bought well and playing well and getting the points. They not scraping wins. They dominating teams.
You could say the same for opponents though, the tougher teams will have honed skills as well by the time they play Arsenal.

True...... but people slant their easy games like a cross to bear.... it definitely has them settle down.... and let's be fair they mot all easy....it's a sprinkling of fixtures. They'll get their confidence up....they already playing some fluid football as well.... we are though disjointed..... but I must stress it's early days. End of January is when I start to get a true feel of the top 4 candidates.

Got to say Arsenal playing some great football. Don't count on a meltdown, the players they've bought suit the system. Jesus and Odegaard top class. They'll beat the shit teams they lost to last year. Think they'll be challenging for top 4.

Of course they will be, but the key point is, they won't be better than us.

We won't win the NLD at their place either unfortunately, as we rarely show up for that. Even a draw though will be good for us and enough to piss them off. Hopefully it comes via a last minute Kane penalty.

I think we need to see how all of the teams cope with the tight schedule that's coming when the European football starts to be honest. And I include us in that as well as I think our defence needs improving as well as in attacking midfield. But on reflection I think Arsenal have bought extremely well. The only thing that I think will hurt them are injuries, suspensions in central midfield.

The pundits are gushing about arsenal today. Anyone would think they’d just battered City, or Liverpool, or even someone as high up the league as West Ham.

They’ve looked very good and against three very poor sides. Palace were a mess first game, Leicester just lost at home to frigging Southampton, and Bournemouth are probably favourites to finish bottom at this point.

Just seen their fixtures, they don’t have a hard game until October, which is us. All their next games are winnable, maybe Brentford will be a challenge.

Fulham
Aston Villa
United - who are shockingly bad!
Everton
Brentford
Us

whoever did the fixtures this season made it very favourable for arsenal.

There's always two sides to these things. That's certainly one way of looking at it, but on he other hand this means they're bound to have a pile up of tough fixtures at some point, so they could easily go on a bad run that ruins their confidence

They have had an easier start, but they've also had a very good transfer window. They had an obvious advantage over us, in that they had a key position that was very easy to improve upon. I would have liked us to have signed Jesus, but the reality is, we probably didn't have the option as he wouldn't have wanted to leave City's bench, to potentially sit on ours. Arsenal don't have any real compeition up front for him and he'd already worked with Arteta. So to instantly make them a much better team, it didn't exactly require too much transfer market nouse.

We would benefit as much as Arsenal have with a striker, if we coud sign a top class RWB, but it's not as if the market is teeming with quality wing back's. So it's a lot harder to find the players that would instantly make our 1st team significantly better.

And rightfully so too... let's give credit where it's due. They playing well, scoring goals....tight in defence. If it were us we'd also be crowing... they not winning the league but they sure as hell will be in the top 4 mix.

Youre right, they have looked good against poor sides. We havent looked all that great but we have got seven points, so im ecstatic.

Im not comparing and contrasting as you can acknowledge theyre good without having to take offence and see it as a criticism against our own - because it isnt. Its just acknowledging that theyre fast starters, more ruthless, theyre fast with the ball, they do have a defensive weakness still but all teams have a weakness, its about how you mitigate against that. They mitigate those weaknesses by getting an early goal or two - then when the opposition have to come out, they use their pace to hit on the counter - thats their game plan it seems. Its worked well.

But there is no denying theyre a good team with one or two weakness same as any team except maybe Man City?

They’ve had a good start, but they’ve also had probably the easiest start of last seasons top 6. So I think it’s far too early to be drawing conclusions from their form. Main headline on the bbc for example is “Arsenal mentality shift is crazy.” What’s that based on exactly?

They have had an impressive start. They’ve not overcome any real challenge yet though.

They have had, and do have, the easiest start of any team in the Prem according to the Athletic.
They are playing very well I just think the wheels will fall off come October. This is based on nothing but bias, hatred, and what I think is a lack of depth. Let's ?.

Heard Jamie Redknapp last night saying how they had a different mentality and showed grit and determination. When was this exactly? Also comparing three losses last year to wins this year, they had Chelsea, City and Brentford last year.

Hopefully the wheels come off with about 10 games to go - much better

I watched the last two games and they look back to late Wenger levels.

They will steam roller a lot of teams.

What I don't get is though they have a left back playing as a midfielder and neither of the last two teams thought to play with any width to stop him doing it.

Odd tactical choices.

I don’t even think they are playing that well. If we started off the league with the games they had. I’m pretty sure we would be top with a good goal difference as well.
