1 up but a lot to sort out at half time. Vertonghen in particular is getting no defensive support from Son. Offensively we need more from Son (been poor), Alli, Kane and Moura as we’re getting overrun in midfield... they need to do more for the team.

We’ve obviously improved defensively though, Wolves have played really well and would’ve scored a couple a few weeks ago

Trying to grind a result away to a team who haven't lost at home since September.
I guess we have ridden our luck, but find ourselves 1 up.
Going to take plenty of effort to keep our noses in front. As poor as we have been they've applied themselves well enough and kept at it.

Son and lucas need consistancy like mane and salah. I don't see why they can't operate similar on the counter

What game are you watching? They have created no real chances, we look far more dangerous on the counter.

Would like to see a bit more guile from us under Mourinho, aside from a few promising moves during counter attacks, it's very direct and scrappy.
Absolutely, Son looks world class one game, a pub player the next week. Today he's been awful. Can't even control the ball.
We look like we can score more goals though.
This is a match where Ndombele is really missed. You need someone who can dribble and play quick forward passes against Wolves. They are open and vulnerable at the back to fast transition through balls.
I suspect Mourinho will think hard about taking off Dele for Eriksen. He's put him on whenever he's needed someone who to show for the ball and take pressure off a bit.

Dude, I'm all for calling out bad play, but a poor finish is missing the target entirely, or banging it over the bar. He hit the post after some beautiful build up play. Be fair. There's such a thing as being overly critical for the sake of it.
