The last days of AVB were dire and he was fired after a 6-0 thrashing by CIty away, and a 5-0 hammering by Liverpool - the worst at the Lane in 16 years

Poch has engineered the worst defeat at home in our history (137 years!) and clearly has no answers for the dire form of the team.

We're below Newcastle - a team whose fans are in rebellion with a manager who is chronically unpopular and a squad that had such little investment their two time la liga winning manager quit

The worst thing about close losses, and lucky draws in the league is that it makes sacking seem unreasonable - but 12 months of this dross is no knee jerk reaction

When is enough, enough? Sometimes change can be good for all involved

Come on, even Allardyce would be in the top half with this set of players.
Sam Allardyce could barely get in the top half with the likes Dourkaeff and Okocha.

We change the manager. If that happens, then ok. Fair enough. There's no clearly unreasonable reason not to.

But it's still a rebuild. And it'll still not be immediate trophies or scintillating football. And people will still be calling us a disgrace.

So whichever way we go, either stick with current disenfranchised crop of players, drop said players and play the new blood, or change the whole thing; we're going to have to suck it up this season.

You know when you're a shit newb at pool and come up against a very good player but fluke your way into getting a few balls potted then think you're actually competing? That's how our play looks.
That pretty much sums up our last 14mths

I'm no longer angry any more. Is like starting to get into a habit.

I'm sure the players feel the same too.

I think the worst thing you can say about us at the moment is we're very easy to play against. They could do whatever they wanted to do with the ball.

I'd say that when you can read from SC how we are going to play or what we are going to do/not do, alarm bells should ring.

So true. Even had we won, that fact alone is hugely worrying.

We are where we are. We are a 8/9th kind of team at the moment. This season in the league is a right off, use the games this season to blood the younger players and new signings as Pochettino did in the 2nd half of his first season.
All those calling for poch to get the sack, who ever takes over long term or short term still will have the same players who have been playing rubbish for a year now

It's like hanging on to a marriage you know is dead but doing it for the kids. In this case, through love and loyalty between chairman and manager.
