To me it’s an absolute no-brainer to continue with this line-up.

To be fair to Poch he did used to stick to his best line-up (sometimes a bit too much lol) in days we had Dier / Dembele in midfield and Eriksen / Dele / Son in front of them.

The switch to 433 toward the end of the first half and the entirety of the second helped us a lot defensively. Will be interesting to see if we used it again at the weekend. It free'd up a few players and without been a negative defensively.

A much better performance all things considered but this ultimately underlines that we have genuine quality in our ranks that hasn't been utilised correctly for a good while.

Also you can't ignore the fact that the opposition were pretty woeful tonight and certainly played its part in aiding us get a comprehensive victory.

Liverpool on the weekend is a different beast but for now, savour a good win and a return to fitness of what should be important figures going forward for this club.

Keep the same eleven going forward please, no need to bring Eriksen, Rose or Alderweireld in and I'm prepared for Foyth to eventually takeover Jan's spot.

If Eriksen starts ahead of Lamela against Liverpool I will be livid.
His body language was of someone on the outside looking in from what I could see and rightly so. I hope he doesn't get anywhere the first team unless we have absolutely no other options - January can't come quick enough for him to sign a pre-contract with whoever wants him.

The whole team was a joy to watch.;)
True. It was just nice to see a centre midfielder have a picture in his head of whats around him and know what he's going to do before he receives the ball. We haven't had that since Modric.

Just hope it something we can see it consistently.

Well done boys and well done Poch. Please please please just keep it this simple against Pool. Round pegs in round holes and let the players play to their strengths.
