Just been scanning through this thread and there seems to be very little if any actual ITK. Shouldn't we just start a "I'd like so and so to come to the club this TW" thread instead?

Hernandez, 25 year old fox in the box with lots of experience in a high tempo league.
All comp stats:
2010-2011, 20 in 45
2011-2012, 12 in 36
2012-2013, 18 in 36
2013-2014, 7 in 23
Vucinic, 30 year old left sided forward with the occasional bit of skill, whilst playing in the yawn fest of Serie A.
All comp stats:
2011-2012, 10 in 35
2012-2013, 14 in 43
2013-2014, 2 in 11
Hernandez:
1) 5 years younger than Vucinic and could be sold for a profit
2) Premiership experience/proved he can hack it in one of the most demanding leagues in the world
3) Energetic
4) A very good goals to games ratio
Vucinic:
1) Erm, he's 2 inches bigger than Hernandez but can hold the ball up
2) He's old
3) His goal scoring ratio is awful for a so called striker
4) He's coming towards the end of his career and has never played in a high intensity league before.
5) He will cost around £8-10m with no sell on value
And you still rate Vucinic as the better player lol

Didnt say Vucinic would be a long term option, he is better at leading the line and just has more all round ability. Completely different types of players, I dare say Hernandez stats would look good against Giroud's, but would Arsenal do a swap? No...exactly.

That's nice, just what we need ... another Emile Heskey, can hold the ball up but can't do the one thing he's supposed to do, SCORE GOALS!

D'oh? Oh I guess 1 goal in 4 is acceptable to you? With that sort of finishing we'll be lucky to get 45 in the league this season.

This transfer window is slower than a one legged race between Michael Dawson and William Gallas.

Reality check. We aren't likely to buy a striker in the next 3 and a bit days.
"We" want a star striker who can hold the ball up, link play and score for fun. But we want them to be happy to be 3rd choice. And come to a club not in the CL this season and not guaranteed it next season. And we want them on the cheap. And we want Levy to tie up the deal quickly.
