In order of importance I think it should be a follows..

League Title - Been watching Spurs for 40 years and I am sure I would cry if we won it
Europa League - A great competition in the later stages and Champions League place makes it more special
Top 3 Place - No Messing abut with the Champions League play-offs
Top 4 Place - Champions League play-offs but still a good chance to get to the group stages.
FA Cup - Has great history but the world does not stop for the FA Cup anymore
LEAGUE CUP (Already out)

This season's main targe is top four I am sure

I'd like to hope that the europa league I equally high on the agenda as it brings both silverware and a CL spot

It's pretty clear from the rotation that fa cup is secondary at the moment

If we get top 4 and win the EL. Will 5th place in PL get a CL-spot?

I will be happy if we just keep doing what we have been so far this season.
Remain consistant
Keep improving
Be entertaining

That should see a exciting second half of the season the rest will hopefully take care of itself.
Thoroughly enjoying the ride at the moment

At the start of the season I said I'd be happy whatever happened this season and I'm going to stick to that

However

One of my students, a Chelsea fan who I have enjoyed giving pelters to this season thinks they will win the champions league.

This set a shiver down my spine. I mean, that couldn't happen could it? its never happened before right?

Maybe we should try for 3rd....

Didn't the since change the rules so that a Chelsea win would not stop the fourth place epl team getting a cl birth this year?

Regardless Chelsea won't win it this year

They will be prioritising the CL of that there is no doubt at all.
If they are in any way good enough to win it is a different question all together.

What happened before won't happen again as they've now changed the rules.

The only way to get bumped off of 4th is if PL teams wins CL AND EL while both being below top 4.

I would cry if we won the FA cup let alone the league. I was born at exactly the wrong time so I've seen a couple of league cups and thats been my lot

Thank you (and Shea) for pointing that out. I still remember playing some god awful gig in a venue with a TV showing that CL final.

So back to everything being a bonus this year

I felt nothing when Arsenal won the FA Cup when they win the league or when Chelsea won the Europa I was really pissed off!! Maybe it`s because I have seen Spurs win great FA Cup finals
