So it’s a red if he’s pulled down by his neck or shoulders?
its not.
Nowhere near the same, try and physically do that and pretty sure actually if you do manage grab someone by the neck and throw the down it damn well is a red card.

It happens at almost every corner. Players get dragged down, that’s how it is. The problem is now is that everone wants someone sent off.
it’s a foul and probably a yellow card. Maximum

Is that funny, though? You look at the two squads, and the mangers, and swapping two players around makes that much difference? There's something wrong there, isn't there?
It doesn’t make that much of a difference. Our squad and team are still miles stronger

Shot map has them peppering us from range whilst most of our chances came within the box. I'm not sure if Kane makes the difference for them, but a greater aerial threat would've seen some of those crosses causing us some grief.

"If the goals were bigger we might have scored three or four"

If they are going to talk bollocks - so will I.

RIcharlison is in Mendy's line of sight but because there is a big distance between where the ball is struck - to Richarlison - and then to Mendy....there was deemed to be adequate view for Mendy.

Its the distance...that's the pertinent detail in this judgement.

And it was the correct call and rightly stood.

Goalkeepers get enough OTT protection.

Mendy needs to anticipate better and expect the shot to come across goal.

It's poor goal keeping really imo. He definitely has some view of PEH lining it up and striking it.
Wind the story on a week, and Leeds have conclusively demonstrated that Mendy is proving to be a massive weakness in the Chelsea team.

The Brighton that beat Arsenal towards the end of last season? The Palace that outplayed Arsenal first game of this season?

But that wasn't tactics obviously

This guy is like a vortex of self importance. I'm not sure of he may get sacked up his own ass at some point in life.
