Exactly, we've already achieved more than them in Europe anyway but most of their fans don't think we've won a trophy....ever. So a CL win would only have been met with their PL wins and Invincibles etc.
End of the day mate. You're judged on trophies. We've got fuck all the last few years

Arsenal mania :ROFLMAO:
Sp**s advantage over us won’t last their debt is way too high. Once Kane and Son are sold or start losing form that will be the end of them. Just have to wait it out till then.

Entitlement re:Son

He is a United player in a Tottenham shirt. I would rather break the bank signing him than Sancho. Its a no brainer and i can't work out why there's never been any solid links to us. Levy would be a nightmare to deal with but not even any press gossip to unsettle him:confused:.

Comments on the game thus far:

Now just imagine how good this Spurs team would be if they had a style of play!!!

To be honest Spurs looked rather shit. But two perfect goals is all you need.

Kane is by the far the most complete player in the league. I can't believe it to be honest, he excels in every part of the pitch.

It's crazy. He's not just scoring, he's also defending better than their defenders and creating chances better than their midfielders. How come?

Horrible defensive football but it works for them while Kane and Son score every chance they get.

That goal was poetically Jose Mourinho. Your striker’s head is banged up and red from clearing the ball in his own box. They’re pinned in their own box. One clever pass out, it’s now 4 on 2 counter attack. Bang goal. Striker goes from clearing the ball in his own box to scoring.
Media implodes as the team without the ball is winning - again and again and again. Never change Jose

On Mourinho

Spurs looking a very solid team at the moment, very well drilled. Maybe he’s not finished after all?

Give it time. An injury to Son or Kane and Jose will moan.

Bastard wants to throw eggs on our faces.

From their subreddit:

We should cross another 45 times. We will somehow score guys despite not having players who can cross or have any aerial ability up front. Our club mathematician who also happens to be our manager says so. Trust the process even though we are 15th.

It sucks Hojberg wasn’t given a yellow on the off the ball tackle against Laca in the first half. I think that set the tone for the Tottenham to play an aggressive game that was based on the bodying the opponent and not playing the game.

I've watched Arsenal play for 20 years and this is the worst team, worst manager I've seen.

Arsenal and Spurs both needed new managers.
Arsenal chose Arteta. Spurs chose Mourinho.
And in the long run, the proven manager shows his worth.
What a surprise really!

Watching Arteta shoving an injured Partey back on after letting Luiz play 45 with his horrific injury has really rubbed me the wrong way. It’s not even the results that are making me Arteta Out. It’s stuff like putting his players in danger and not benching auba despite his ‘non negotiables’. Wtf has happened to us.

A normal result really. Actually I expected much worse(lucky Mou did not let them attack us in the second half). A bellow average team who will fight to make Europa League, away at a champions league lvl team who are fighting to win the league...only one result here really. Can't wait for thursday, no lazy ****s like Auba, no pathetic ****s like Xhaka & Willian.

We are dead. This club is dead. Don't give yourself false hope we'll get back to the top. We won't, it's over. We lost London a decade ago, now we lost north London. Every piece of bragging rights this club had is gone now.

And bunch more similar to that, complaining about Arteta, number of crosses and many of them don't want to see Xhaka ever again.

I swear I was thinking the same thing, he is the only one who can save us from relegation because at this rate it looks like we are getting closer and closer to going down.

Arteta breaking EVERY record....next up....relegated for the first time ever if we continue going like this.

**** OFF!

Leno - 3
Bellerin - 3
Holding - 3
Gabriel - 3
Tierney - 3
Xhaka - 1
Partey - 4
Lacazette - 4
Aubameyang - 1
Willian - 2
Saka - 3

This game might as well been Sp**s vs WBA. Our current league position is spot on and we deserve no better. Thankfully the bottom four teams are awful so we don’t have to worry about going down. But historically poor league position upcoming, that is 100%

Wouldn't of minded Mourinho here, but let's cry cuz he once called wenger a failure.

Neville actually did a really good report on Mourinho's tactics this week. Basically saying they play 6 at the back, and breaks with Ndombele and Son/Kane clean it up.

He did the same thing with Man Utd and failed. As Pogba wasn't quick enough to break with, and Martial/Rashford were not the same level as Son/Kane.

Showed exactly that tonight, we could do nothing with possession. Just crosses. Its just ****.

I bet he won't understand it. He seems to think that kicking his way through every match (players, not balls) will endear him to their fans in the same way I guess we like Lamela.

Bitter much? :D

Others pointed out that it had, in fact, worked just as well against Man City, amongst others. I guess those Arsenal fans recognise an inaccurate attack when they see one. They've had enough practice.
