I've seen a lot of what I've just seen from those RedCafe quotes recently, a lot of opposing fans trying really hard to convince themselves why we're not as good as some may think.

The same people who are now saying the goals will dry up, they'll tire, they're too defensive etc are probably the same people who thought we'd get thrashed by City and Chelsea, you can't win. They'll continue to try and find reasons.

I'm constantly amazed that anybody gives a fuck about what random web people think about Spurs, Mourinho, Levy, our team, individual players etc. Why should the opinion of people who you don't know and don't care about matter to you?

Before any smart-arse says 'why do you look at this thread then?' it's to see what opposing fans of teams who are about to play us think about the forthcoming fixture.

Ignore all that Redcafe bollocks, they've got a massive chip on their shoulder about Jose. They'll never be objective about him or Spurs as long as he is manager.

'None of Spurs depth players would get into United first 11 whereas United have Henderson, Pogba, Telles who could get into the Spurs first 11.'

Whoever wrote this is a complete and utter idiot.
Pogba on a very good day (few and far between) Telles? Pleeeease! Henderson can't be that good if he still has De Gea in front of him (most overrated goalie on the planet)

Mate, Pogba would only have a good game if he played in the Blue away kit and was hypnotised into thinking he was playing for France

history can change

i hate Chelsea because their very being and essence is a stain on football

even though i hate Arse i can respect that they built a football empire for over a decade the proper way - similar to us now.

the Man Citys and the Chelseas ruined the game, and if only people can band together and recognise that then maybe football might be less soulless
You wouldn't happen to have a dislike for communists and Arabs by any chance would you?

I don't think too many people really give a fuck or let it get to them. I certainly don't.

Just a bit of fun.

Quick random selection from Bumenal:

'NLD so form goes out the window. But it’s 2020 Arsenal and Jose Mourinho at the wheel. The tears and agony will be endless and the pain will be illustrated in all sorts of colourful words on AM.

4-1 Sp**s. Move on

5-2 for the gunners, great combo by laca and auba. saka will put the nail in the coffin.

You'd take a draw now.

Doubt we’ll get out of our own half.

they in form while we are not they having clinical finishers while us we barely creating anything they are huge favorite but it's NLD anything can happen. i wish Partey can be back i really want him fit again Xhaka Ceballos in midfield again going to hurt us badly again.

You lot may not like it but going ultra defensive is the only possibility of a result here, you open up against a Mourinho side and they'll ruin you in transition. It took Wenger 13 years to finally win a league game against him. Expect Sundays game to be like a chess match similar to Sp**s-Chelsea, tho we're nowhere near as good as Chelsea so expect a narrow Sp**s win.

2-2 I'm going. Auba and Gabriel to score

They are not a bigger club than us but they are ahead of us and have been ever since Poch came in and took our place in the top 4. Maybe Wenger would still be in a job if they had not hired Poch.

Absolute drivel. The only person in 2010 who knew that by 2017 Sp**s would overtake us in league was Mystic ****ing Meg the crazy astrologer. Because she probably knew the only way it would happen is if the fans tied Wenger’s hands and feet and gave him a good kicking, which they did. 20 years drubbing of Sp**s cannot be a fluke.

I keep fluctuating between a win and an embarrassing loss.

don't worry with our defense and Partey back there won't be embarrassing lose we entering this game as underdogs we might get something from this just like we did at Manutd.

1996 to 2004 Arsenal won 8 matches, Sp**s 1 Draws 9 that’s a 44% win rate for Arsenal.

2004 to 2016 Arsenal won 14, Sp**s 6 Draws 11 that’s a 46% win rate and that includes 9 years of stadium build where they outspent us by a mile. In fact 2004 to 2013 because we were a selling club to make ends meet we spent a grand total of £8m according to transfermarkt. Sp**s spent £175m.

This will be brutal.

Honestly I would be happy if we came away with a draw. That’s how uncertain I am in this team’s ability to get a win in the league.

We can only hope that myth about Willian becoming a beast vs Sp**s is true

God help us all.

We will win this one trust me and come back to this post after rye game.

You guys have a lot of faith in Mourinho forcing the issue here, and somehow dominating in a game where no one will want to give an inch.

Drab draw or narrow win/loss in this one. This game will be decided by mistakes.

I'm expecting us to lose but I'm not expecting a drubbing. Arteta has been quite successful in games against the better teams so he might rally the troops and get a good defensive performance.

We have the tools to win, we just haven't had the performances recently. Let's hope something from last night carries on and that we don't concede first.

Incidentally, what a disgrace that we should be travelling there expecting to lose. An indictment on all those involved in runnng the club but especially the Kronkes.

Yes that is so but we still expected to win in those days whereas for the past 3/4 seasons we expect to lose. Although this should be a temporary glitch, because we are unquestionably the bigger club, in most people's minds there has been a transfer of power in north London insofar as the league is concerned, even if we've glossed this by winning two of the last four FA cups. '

Standard desperate gooner drivel about them being the bigger club and referencing years past somehow meaning it applies to today's game. A fair few divided opinions having said that. Even Manure fans have just about finally started to accept that they're actually shit under Woodward now. Come what may this weekend, I don't expect any change in tone any time soon unless we win something - which will be called a fluke anyway.

One of the major reasons I was willing us to win the Champions League was to shut them up with their “We’Re ThE bIgGeR cLuB” nonsense.

Massive ball dropped that day and a pitiful performance where we looked more frightened than Chelsea were against us last weekend. Mourinho, the scourge of Arsenal and Wenger, needs to be the man who wins the CL for us and puts an end to the debate - it would be almost prophetic.

Wouldn't happen anyway, they'd just move the goalposts.

Exactly, we've already achieved more than them in Europe anyway but most of their fans don't think we've won a trophy....ever. So a CL win would only have been met with their PL wins and Invincibles etc.
