That time of the week again where the usual suspects descend to treat us to their musings on why the team selection should lead to the manager’s sacking before kick off. Excellent.

Sanchez at the back scares me as always but great to see Reguilon back. Would have been nice to have seen Dele or Bale, just because I think we're so used to not seeing much from Lucas in the league. I actually think Lucas has been a bit better in the last few games in terms of his attacking intent, unfortunately his ball retention has been terrible at times though.

Watching Jose in his press conference talking about how West Ham are fresh and play one game a week and are very motivated whilst we have to travel. Excuses are already out. Pathetic.

Sanchez and Dier at the back :X3:

It's the best we have, and that largely the problem. Toby is done sadly and Rodon not quite there. Huge improvements required. Hopefully if we sell Foyth and Toby ends up leaving we have the fee and wages to make a good signing.

Hoping the tanganga and reguilon full back pairing yields a better balance making it easier for us to attack.

Its like they've rested him due to his "fatigue" just so he could be ready for this game.

tbh he’d be the first name on the team sheet if I was the West Ham manager for this game. Dier and Sanchez are gonna know they are in a game today that’s for sure

What other options do we have? Any of our CB pairings are pretty bad tbh

Still think Toby is our best CB. Any pairing with him is better than one without.

Otherwise, about the best team available. Close call between Moura and Bale but may see the latter come on.

Regi back is a massive plus. Hope he's not too rusty.

Today will be the day where we don’t make one individual error that leads to a goal. I believe.

No bale yet again i give up ffs. Even if bale doesnt have a great game he has a fear factor level to occupy players to create space for kane n son. But noooooo lucas mr fetherwieght plays again. Also sanchez starting again ??

What's happened to Ogbonna? He's been great for them this season, delighted he's out.
Injured. Got a flying tackle to his ankle in their last game or so.

I also watched them in the cup without benrahma and they were terrible going forwards, interesting that he isn't selected.

If we can handle the aerial balls and Antonio it'll be 3 pts today.

I’m hoping Bale gets 30 mins today.

I would have preferred to see Bale for Moura but other than that I am pleased with the team Jose has picked. There is very little to choose between any of our centre backs right now so Dier and Sanchez is OK. Great to see Reguilon back, makes a massive difference to our attacking options.

Nice attacking lineup. Good to see Reg back. We should be able to get at dawson and diop. Both teams attacking line ups so should be space for us to exploit.
