Update on Hutton please

I left a post a few weeks ago to give you my opinion on alan hutton (as a person who watches him week in week out). Just wondering if you could update me on how he's been doing. there's only so much that match of the day can show.

I can still see hutton banging in a winner against the filth (aka arsenal) to become a hero in the eyes of you spurs faithful!!!!

still got to give him time to really settle into the squad and learn other plaeyrs games, but has played well so far, can see him being a huge hit for us!

Very solid. Defensively I dont feel he has really been tested in either game, noone that has really attempted to get at him, but what he has had to do he's done well. Few blocks, few tackles and tracks his man.

He had a good chance to open his Spurs account today but snatched at it a bit.

He has started well, not amazing but well, against Man utd he kept Giggs, Ronaldo and Nani quite throught the game. and going forwards he looks good but I would like to see him go forward more!

i think when bale comes back it will give the side more balance and hutton will improve even more great signing

Seems to be playing within himself getting the pace of the English game.Very sound defensively and looks quick in recovering when beaten.Cant wait until he has the confidence to surge forward as he looks very powerful.

Everyone so far has said he is good, but need to see more of him to make a better judgment.

I think i would listen to those chumps as i agree with them, and even you said the same :shrug:

He had a good game today tough player not afraid to get stuck in, good positional play and challenged for headers well. True he nearly scored with a blaster but to be honest if he had squared it definate goal I think. All in all I am impressed.
Also Chimbo did O.k on the left again today.
