Text from the same guy who gave me the last bit of info. Same story as before - can't vouch for his source, but I can vouch for him telling me what he's heard.

ONLY THE BOLD BIT APPLIES TO US, ALL THE REST IS QPR-RELATED!

We tried to get beckford, he wants 18k a week, we offered 13k a wk, and leeds want 3.5m and kaspars gorkks. We offered 2.8m...theyre bein ****s! Might get him in Jan as he does want2 cum bk 2 London. We had an offer 4 gary hooper turned down, 1.1m. Bale will sign on season long loan when the loan window reopens!

At this point I texted him back asking if he meant that he would sign in January when the window reopens, and got this message...

No u div. All the transfer windows r shut now inc loans. Loan window will reopen in 48 hours, but prem teams cant loan from other prem teams. Bale wil join up nxt wk. He was at the ground today and wants 2come. Were finalisin once weve let other players out on loan as weve got to pay 80% of his wages

Isn't Bale still injured?

I don't mind him going out on loan since I think he needs regular games to regain his confidence, but if BAE gets injured, we're in serious trouble unless Naughton can play LB...

Season long loan in the Championship for Gareth Bale?!?!?

I can't see him agreeing to that. Especially after the ITK suggesting we'd turned down big money offers for him from the likes of Man Citeeh and - possibly - both Milan clubs.

Loaning him to QPR for a month to get match fit makes a certain amount of sense. Then bring Gareth Bale back and stick him in the match day 18.

I like that thinking, yanno.

No way that I'd let Bale go (if I had any say in the matter) other than the circumstances you've just described.

When the ACN are on early next year we will lose both BAE and Bassong. We will need Bale to play in the LB position. A loan until the end of this year makes more sense.

Hope it doesnt happen, we need LB and LM cover and Bale needs to beat this stupid curse.

Also I really dont think QPR can afford 80% of Bale's wages if they cant afford Bekfords, Bale is on a very very good contract
