From a pal of mine who has connections with Rangers

Been told that Harry is okay with [Bale] to go out on loan to get match fitness cos of all his injuries. We're (QPR) in for Beckford but fighting Sheffield Utd at the moment and Ben Watson is also in the frame... We've also enquired about Danny Welbeck... I'll know more tonight.... (2m for Kranjcar... fucking bargain of the window if so)

But Bale is our only cover for BAE, unless we trust that Bassong is fine at LB (which isn't the impression I've gotten from Newcastle fans). A loan should have a recall option at the very least.

Beckford, Watson, Wellbeck? Are we looking for strikers? Pav might be going out, but I'd rather just see Gio as fourth choice rather than the likes of Beckford.

Watsons actually been very good whenever I've seen him. Plus one of my best mates is a Leeds fan... He'd be well pissed if we got Beckford

If this is true then it means that Pav is gone and we are looking for a young striker to take his place - a back up who is happy to sit on our bench and play in CC games or if someone gets injured.

Beckford aparently is billy Big Boots at Leeds and would most likely only move to a club pretty much giving him a starting shirt each game.
