Unless the offer is a silly one like 15m+ we shouldn't be strengthening our rivals. They are very vulnerable this year and we can finish above them.

How things have changed since they allowed Keano to move back "down" to us!

It seems strange that we try out the dream combination of Bentley and Crouch once - between them they create four goals in one game - and then we sell Bentley. Unless Harry just feels he's someone he can't work with, I don't understand the logic.

I personally don't think that the Petrov/Bentley deals will happen.

It will be Niko and Chavez and that will be our lot. I reckon we aren't buying a Palacios replacement because Harry wants to go back for Sissoko or Sandro in January.

i really dont see the point in selling bentley, especially if it will strengthen a rival (villa, everton, lpool etc)

I still feel he can be that dynamic player he was at Blackburn, with Luka out I think he can come back in and do a job...we are better off keeping him for a year I don't think his value will drop by next summer...just my opinion

The only problem here is the reports say we offered Bentley and if I heard right it was not just to Man City! If true, this just confirms Harry don't want him and chances are even if we can't flog him Harry won't play him
