Having a Monday evening match after the international break is a bit of a bonus ,gives players extra recovery time after the travel involved for some of them but then having a following Friday game V Palace is not a bounus, swings and roundabouts.
Fulham got a draw at The Woolwich so will be no walkover but with the current mood at the club expecting another 3 points.

I'd say Friday after Monday is a problem if we were travelling outside of London, but it's a home game and then a game at Palace.

We then have the Monday game in the following weekend (also in London). That means a lot of recovery time for Chelsea if anyone is feeling fatigued following Palace.

With a game a week so far, our squad should cope. Bissouma misses this then will be fresh for Palace.

Your right on the plus side the Palace game does involve little travelling , meet up at Hotspur Way and get the coach down to south London, could even have a morning warm up session.

Same for me, against Chelsea though.
I was trying to get tickets for me and my son, but a ticket behind the dugouts popped up on ticket exchange so I just had to go for it. Heading over on my own for Fulham, but will aim to get a weekend game for me and the wee man soon.

a PL fixture on Monday should be banned. Only exists so Sky can make more money with their monday night football bollocks.

I enjoy it. It makes my Monday in work feel a bit better when I know I can chill out and watch a game that evening. I know it’s gotta be a pain for those travelling to the games though.

Trouble is the PL clubs rely on TV for money so will play whenever TV requests it, in the last Spurs accounts TV & Media revenue was £144 million that was more than Spurs take in gate receipts which was £106 million.

from a team standpoint its quite unfair for all the fixtures to be played and then all pressure and eyes are on you

So by that logic, all games need to be played Saturday at 3pm. No early kick offs no late kick offs or Sunday games? As early kick offs will have the same pressure of all eyes on them.

I enjoy the MNF games and I’ve been to a couple. I will say though that there should be limits on how many MNF home games in a season each team should have. It doesn’t seem right that we’ve got back to back MNF home games and a Friday night game sandwiched between.

Sod’s Law really. I was really looking forward to a season of predominantly Saturday 3pm home matches but we’ve had one so far and no others in sight! Still, it’s all money driven and likely to get worse with a 7PM Sunday slot being eyed.
