Our next test is another tricky away game against one of those "depends which version of them turns up" teams in Fulham. They have beaten Arsenal at the Cottage and forced a 2-2 draw at The Emirates with 10 men, they smashed West Ham 5-0, they went to Old Trafford and beat Man Utd and they gave Liverpool an almighty scare at Anfield before eventually going down 4-3 so they have something about them. On the other side of the coin they got stuffed 3-0 at Bournemouth, battered 3-0 at home to Brentford and lost to Burnley at home and drew away. They must be the only side in the division not to beat Burnley at least once!

The thing about Ange is that he only cares about what we do rather than what the opposition have done before and that is the right way to look at it. The facts are that we have better players than Fulham in every department so if we both play to our full potential we should win this game. It is an opportunity to return to fourth before Villa's tricky trip to West Ham on Sunday so we have to capitalise fully or all our good work at Villa could be undone if they turn the Hammers over. Our squad is getting fitter, players like Brennan Johnson, Maddison, Son and Werner are hitting form and look hungry for goals and we looked solid at the back again even with Radu replacing Mickey in the second half, so I expect all of that to lead to a positive and much-needed result. Fulham 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2. COYS!

Their pitch is a little tighter and a 5 30 KO will see a pumped up crowd (although not the toughest place to go in that regard)

A good side but clearlry very inconsistent, like many mid table teams.

Sincerely hope its not a case of after the lord mayors show against Villa, but confident Ange will have them focused for the job at hand.

3-1 Spurs. Fancy Son to grab a few here.

For all Tottenham's swashbuckling attacking in the second half vs Aston Villa, they are becoming slow starters in matches. They had just one shot in the first half at Villa Park and failed to score, meaning they've failed to score in five of their last six first halves. And only had 25 shots in those six first halves, works out at just over four per game which is very low for a team chasing Europe.

Now they are heading to a tricky away game to play a Fulham team that have conceded the fewest goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches this season, just one.

Second half should be fun 😁😁 ... as long as we stay composed and focused like against Villa... then I can live with swashbuckling second halves.

True, but Villa are the best team in the PL in first halves - in fact if the league table only took into account results at half time then Villa would be top.

Out of interest do you have a second half table? Reckon we'd definitely be topping that.

Beat Fulham and can't see united overtaking us. 9 points clear with 10 games to go. Would require a collapse of epic proportions similar from Chelsea game onwards. Can't see that happening again

Fulham seem Similar to us In That they struggle with teams trying not to lose. But are better against teams that attack. This is by no means a banker. Need to be on our game.

Games are not 100% won in the first half. Does it help to have a quick start? Sure. But you can still lose games with a decent half time lead. Just see Luton v Bournemouth. Games are generally settled in the second half, so this doesn't bother me one bit. Nor does it bother Ange.

We're at that stage in the season where every game has a distinct element of 'make or break'. Any positive outcome can create a load of belief and momentum, but any negative outcome can create tension and nerves. This feels like a crucial game to me and we absolutely have to build on what we did at Villa Park. COYS!!!

Funnily enough I actually think Dragusin might end up being better suited to this game than Van De Ven was.

Muniz the striker has been playing brilliant for them and is a massive nuisance as a target man with his physicality.

Not saying Van De Ven isn’t physical, but Dragusin is a fantastic header and will absolutely relish the battle
