i stole this from murphy on ftl, i dont know where its from
Kieran Maguire Thinks we are quite ripe for takeover now as he thinks the Joe Lewis thing was something that may have put off potential buyers.

He thinks the worth is 3.5 billion.

Says it's the one of the most attractive propositions to foreign owners anywhere in the world.

Kevin Day thinks Palace American owners would like to buy spurs.

I would prefer the new and improved Daniel Levy to keep running the show. American ownership seldom works out well. Football just aint their thing.

And if the Palace guys purchase us, do we then become a feeder club for Palace after we've just been beaten to transfers by Brentford? (I joke)

I have come to believe Levy will not seriously entertain a sale until he thinks he can get a cool billion for his stake after tax. £3.5 billion will not hit the number.

My gut feeling is that bids under £4bn won't even be entertained, and I haven't been too impressed by American owners in football so far.

If I'm not mistaken I believe John Textor is well-liked in Lyon though.

EDIT: Textor is allegedly looking to sell his 45% stake in Palace as he's not content being a passive investor (due to not having a majority stake).

Don’t the textors own Lyon, who are flirting with relegation, along with palace who aren’t exactly a model club. Really hope that’s not true.

Palace are probably the most directionless club in the league

Their aim is to not get relegated every season with a small fanbase and a tiny stadium.

I'm from the Midlands and don't know a single Crystal Palace supporter.

With that in perspective; they're doing great.

Its more the style.

I think if there was one thing we learn between 2019-2023 was that you actually want to enjoy what you're seeing.

Under Vieira they had that again but as is such things, the wheels started to fall off. They should never have gave it to Roy full time. They are absolutely horrible to watch. There is more to football than surviving.

No reason why they can't at least aim higher or have a distinct style or business approach. They're the same size club as Brighton .

ENIC in which Levy has a stake are Bahamas registered not sure he will pay much tax in the UK if we are sold. Says he will listen to bids but not sure he or the Lewis family want to sell, still got hotel etc to build.
