Only £150?

"Deeply ashamed of their actions"? Yeah right. Judicial system is fucked.

the watching fans seemed to think it was funny at the time but how does a fine of £150 deter anyone else doing it? what were all those tweets about doing it at another location if it was a spur of the moment decision?

We should pursue them for damages. The BBC in their gossip column described them as Spurs fans. Do we know who they support? I thought they were goons and the BBC should make this clear.

That is a scandalous ruling. How has the court accepted that they only decided to invade the pitch once they were inside the ground when there were tweets eluding to it 24 hours beforehand???

F*cking incompetence in our legal system. This is a relatively trivial thing in comparison to most crimes, but it could incite more invasions by people who pose an immediate threat to the players etc, and the leniency of the fine and banning order says a lot about how our legal system can sometimes miss the point entirely!

They weren't distributing child porn, the pitch invasion was just a prank. There are people who have done much more serious crime that are being let off all the time.

They tweeted that 'they are Ars*nal fans and they had to do it'.

The punishment must fit the crime, the fine is about right, what's the point of putting them in jail or giving them a heavy fine which they can't pay? It would be destroying their lives for no good reason and on the flipside they may get more drawn into crime.

The first time was amusing inasmuch as the selfie thing was original at least. Plus the guy was quite amusing.

The second and third guys got booed and rightly so.

A fine of £150 will not stop them going into more crime. It is more like a reward than a deterrant. They will just see it as a sign of weakness. Spurs should not allow themselves to be pushed around.
