Eriksen should stay drifting in off the left. He's hard to pick up and gets in good goalscoring positions there.

i want to know why so few get this, or refuse to accept it. when he starts centrally he often gets stifled but he can come in off the flank largely undetected and that's where he's hurting teams, i think he's really switched on in terms of positioning and reading situations. he has 9 goals and 7 assists in 19 apps playing from the left, that kind of production is up there with the best.

I'd push lamela right up forward centrally with eriksen just off him with Lennon right and townsend left and see What happens

I think people get hung up on what system works in their head rather than what is borne out on the pitch. Such as this mythical "fluid 3 behind the striker" interchanging perfectly, but in reality it doesn't happen like that.

Also, Sherwood got the best out of him playing off the left but some people would rather die than give him even the slightest bit of credit.

fuck the false number 9 lets buy a fucking beast of a forward Benteki (sp) even Bony (hasn't signed a new deal yet) would be class in that system
