France looked like they really benefitted from that extra week to prepare. They were playing in the right areas when they went down to 14 and were decent at the breakdown. They did a number on us tbf.

I was very impressed with our performance yesterday and stated to feel very optimistic until I see what New Zealand did against Ireland. I knew they’d beat Ireland with plenty to spare but that was a destruction.

I think we’d beat any other team in the tournament right now, bar perhaps a close one with the Saffas, but New Zealand will show the difference between them and everyone else next week.

I’ve said all along I fancy South Africa to upset New Zealand in the final but I’m not so sure now. We could be looking at a record score in the final. Unfortunately they are just a different level

I agree with most of this

There’s two games left maximum for Wales. If they play to their very best in both then they’ll still lose at least one, if it’s against New Zealand, it’ll be a minimum of twenty points.

Dawson just stating the obvious imo, saying something without really saying anything and of course, has to get the reference to 2003 in there just in case people forget what he’s famous for...

Wayne knows best.

I think he’s a top ref and that was strong reffing, but he should have used the TMO there. Ultimately, from a fans point of view and in the traditional sense of the game, I’m happy it was only a yellow.

it’s his trademark. He’s an arrogant man. He doesnt need TMOs
