Everytime I think about it I end up with the thought of Pochettino doesn't want to be there anymore. Maybe this is the reason why players aren't getting behind his ideas.

I would love if he can come next and give a huge statement saying he wants to stay and make things better instead of saying the usual bullshit he says.

I think I've probably never read more thinly scraped and far-fetched, apologetic straw-clenching for the entire time of Pochettino's tenure. This thread has hit some new highs.

I was just curious, if some of you stat cats could help, what the run of form was like when Martin Jol and say Ramos was sacked.?

I’m not saying I want MP gone but I think somethings not quite right. That’s why I was curious about the above mentioned managers, (or others) after all it’s a results based business and I wondered where maybe the line will be drawn.

I dont want Poch to go and love the guy but I think the question should be more like what if this was Harry? Acting weird, saying what Poch has said etc etc etc then i would think loads of fans would want him out. Anyways lets not get into that argument but you catch my drift.

Poch needs to go back to basics, been saying this for months now. I wont quote Einstein but what Poch is doing at the moment isnt really working.

Last year after 6 games we had 12 points, playing similar opposition up to this point. Currently we have 8. With our next run of games I see us getting max 12 out of the 15 the and that is being optimistic. Next 5 games are Southampton Home(W), Brighton Away(W), Watford Home(W), Pool Away(L), Everton Away(W). That would see us with 20 points from 33 that were available compared to last year we had 24 of 33 available.

I was agreeing with the poster that we haven't played well. I also agree we haven't started well this season.

but people are questioning Poch because of the results since January. if the injuries and burnout, even poor refereeing doesn't get a look in, to then get to a CoC semi-final with a depleted squad, to get to the CL final with a depleted squad, and still manage to get to finish in the top 4.

we have had people moaning about playing the diamond formation, we haven't got a fully fit CDM so other than throwing Skip in the deep end, what is Poch meant to do.

people expect us to play with high intensity if we had played like that v Man C, we would have been blown away. how do you play with high intensity when you have to break down a brick wall. we played it v Palace because they allowed us too. Yesterday we didn't play that bad, it was quite physical which throwing Skip on might of not been great either. Obviously Wanyama is showing more in training than Dier. either that or Poch has fallen out with Dier because of the defender v DCM role I don't know.

Last season was our best ever start under Poch after 3 games, but it was also our worst ever finish which was all down to our away form, but the reasons behind that where for all to see. this season the only standout disappointing result is Newcastle, Leicester was never a guaranteed win, but the results in Greece and yesterday has caused a meltdown, and people wanting Poch out and a lot of them bringing in the form of last season.

Will you have a gentle sob if/when he goes Shelfy?
I know you think like others that I'm a **** but I don't want him to go I want it sorted but I do fear for him the pitch forks will be out of we lose to Colchester.

God I hadn't even considered that possibility.
I suppose if the worst happens I could step into his shoes I would be shit but could you imagine myself Mr angry in the changing room, and not sure Mr levy and me would get on a disastrous relationship in the making.:cautious::cautious:

Fuck me, even I’m not that pessimistic. We’re noy going to lose against Colchester. Even if we have to bring Harry on to rescue us :D.

I’m pretty confident we’ll beat Southampton as well.

What I’m not confident in is that we can put a real winning run together.

I'm not saying we will I was referring to the scary scenario if that happened but yes we will or should win.

Tell you what the hiding behind the cliche of 'not being upset by a loss it's the performance and desire from the players that counts' has gone out the window this weekend hasn't it.

I reckon in the next couple of weeks we will see it change slightly because Dele will be fit. We're missing Lo Celso who I imagine was key to the shift as he has a very unique style but Lamela has done an amicable job in stepping up for him.

I reckon we'll see

Winks Ndombele
Lamela Dele
Kane Son

At least until Lo Celso is fit.

Great. More congested middle of the pitch with no players being able to move about and no width. Basically the complete opposite of what we need!
