I'm starting to think Poch doesn't actually watch the games with the Ndombele comment.

I think he just sits there and looks at the tablet on Jesus' lap for 90 minutes and makes his decisions based on what pops up on the screen

time for me to hack that tablet

I hope someone asks him why he continues to pick Aurier when he costs us, sackable offence for that alone

until the penalty Aurier had a good game. he slipped at the crucial moment and wished he had tried to toe pock it towards Toby. what Mane did was no different to what Kane did v Newcastle. he put his body there when Aurier had committed to trying to clear it. it wasn't an intentional foul, Mane won it.

what cost us the game was the starting lineup, Eriksen did sweat FA apart from lose possession or misplace passes every time. Alli to busy trying to do his little flicks and not commit. Rose not being strong enough or know shooting with his right foot is as much use as Sissoko shooting. Son not rolling the ball home with an empty net.

there was no real fight, never winning the 2nd balls, or even committing to try and win the 1st ball better. Both CD today their headed clearances where pathetic, and in Toby's case appalling. Just because the pen won the game, we never lost because of scapegoat Aurier

I admire your patience. For me it should have been after Bayern. The signs have been there for more than a year now and he's had plenty of opportunities to turn things around.

I agree. What I meant was, if we lose and Levy doesn’t sack him, then I don’t know what to say. Surely DL can even see it’s going massively tits up

Aside from the petulant Ndombele bit...

“I was talking before the game, with 29 players, it’s so important to rotate and keep all motivated to play.."

Absolute horseshit. Find your best lineup first (hint: it includes Ndombele), give them a run of games and let them find some consistency and form. What’s the point of rotation if you’re dropping points left and right anyway. We don’t have that luxury.

Do you think Klopp cares about catering to 29 players, or does he put out his best available 11 every game.

It's terrible it's ending this way. By the sounds of it he's lost a lot of the fan base today. For me personally it was when the team versus Watford was named but I suppose after Tuesday I let myself believe he had finally seen the light and recognised the tough decisions that needed to be made but today showed I was wrong.

Hopefully it ends quickly before his reputation from the fans gets too tarnished

I’m genuinely gutted. I don’t want to skate him because of everything that he’s done for us.

I’ve kept my powder dry the last few weeks in the hope that he’s turn it around.

i didn’t get over excited over tuesdays result and performance just in case he reverted back to type and picked the team that he did today.

He’s bringing this on himself now, and Everton on Sunday is a must win game.

I don’t think Levy will pull the trigger before

Harsh reality is we have an inept manager that is damaging the wellbeing of the club with brainless and negligent decisions in terms on team selection and tactics (or lack of).
Throwing our new £63 million signing under the bus like that is just salt in the wound really, why say that about one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe who is probably our best player? We’re lucky to have him. It makes no sense. Levy won’t do anything about it though so this misery will continue for the forseeable.

What's the point in waiting for the Everton game.

We could win that and easily draw against SU because he lines up with Sissoko and Winks again and we can't break them down.

And we all know he'll sit there and wait until 20 minutes to go.

Seriously, I've seen enough. We know this pattern won't change.

Irrespective of what you think about Poch, and his continued reign, his decision to first play, and then keep on both Dele and Eriksen says everything about his tenure since the middle of last season

It’s like having that beautiful wife who is pain in the arse, and is hard work, but you know, she’s beautiful. You know you should let her go, but she’s beautiful. In the end you just have to sit her down and have the talk and end it.

That’s why I’m saying Everton. Even though I know it should be done before.

(Yes, that first part is a very recent true story ??)

It's a defensive reaction to those quotes.

He's one incredibly stubborn man.

I'm fucking sick of our football as well. We're losing most weeks since February and we're boring.

Pull the trigger Levy. Go get Jose. A winner and far superior tactician.

It feels like it did under sherwood now. I actually want us to lose games so he goes and I’m never like that because it’s madness. I hate it but it’s the only way he will go.

Poch has lost it. That much is clear now. He has no answer or solution to our current predicament.

We need a new manager. Things are only going to get worse under the current regime. It's a pity - and I still think this could have been different if we had invested in the playing squad in the previous 2 windows. I also believe that Poch wanted rid of those players who weren't committed long-term to the club but was prevented from doing so. For that reason, Levy also has to carry his fair share of the blame for this mess.

Until then, the least that should happen is that those players (Eriksen, Aurier, Rose, Verts, Toby) that don't want to be here shouldn't be playing or training with the first team. Might not make us any better but at least it will send a signal to the rest of the squad (and the fans).

Same with me now mate. Always want us to win but it's got to the point where deferred gratification is more important than instant gratification.

Frustrating thing is that it’ll cost a shit load to get rid of him, especially annoying when it appears he is angling to get sacked! However whatever it costs it’ll be best for the club in long run.

Just like under Gross. I remember going to Everton and winning and I was gutted.
