It's positive at least! Hurray for ITK!
I assume Ali Z's ITK was in response to the weirdos, who, in early July, have the opinion that we're not going to sign anyone.
Hopefully in the pipeline is in reference to deals and not interest in players
"Congratulations Teesside - your test results came back; you're all clear..."
"Bloody hell, I'm turning into the Invisible Man? Just when my day couldn't get worse."
Stay positive mate. It's why we love you.
I'd expect us to sort right back out but aside from that I wouldn't be so sure just yet. We'll certainly try to improve our squad, but whether we actually will is another matter. I have a feeling we have quite a small list of targets (Barkley being the main target) and we won't just turn to anyone and piss away another £30m on Sissoko mk2 if we can't get them.Anyone that thinks we aren't signing a single player to help the squad is incredibly dense. We're going to sign players (plural). We have to wait for the right deal, it's how we do business; unfortunately, we can't pay significantly over value for players like our direct rivals. It's always been a waiting game for us, I'm not sure why anyone had these huge expectations it would be any different this summer. The club operates with a fine balancing act, selling players we don't need/want, bringing in those that we do but on our terms. And, despite what we may want, they don't operate on our desired schedules.
PG&E plans to install the new pipeline at Barkley Fields and Park starting around July 7th. Construction at the Park will last about four weeks. While PG&E is conducting this construction activity, much of Barkley Fields and Park, including the play structure and baseball diamond, will remain open for use. Following construction, PG&E will return the playing field and surrounding landscaping to new condition
