Yeah we've been down this road before. These absurd signings on deadline day come off one in one hundred times. Surely the last one was Rafa? Oh, and the Lord himself M. Sissoko. Not having a go at the messengers, just not getting my hopes up. Would also rather give Parrott an actual crack rather than some stop gap. Hopefully we don't do anything stupid

Levy does like looking busy on Transfer Deadline day But looking and being are different as is effective and ineffective

Slight chance of a Championship CF Nothing else
He’s scrolling up and down an empty Excel file and calling up the talking clock every five minutes.

? Fuck me this transfer window is really getting some people wound up! I disagree with you, which is cool because that's the point of debates on the Internet. I can however see where you're coming from. Yes a few good players have moved this window, that said, I absolutely agree with the original sentiment in Shanks post. Generally quality assets do not move in January, but, to avoid being accused of changing the goalposts, I will not add anything about extenuating circumstances or exceptions to the rule.

Anyway, don't let tottenham or people on the Internet get to you like this dude.

Im fine, I just find it annoying when people change the meaning of a very clear answer, you asked me what quality asset has moved in a position that we need and I gave an answer, now people are acting like I suggested we should have signed Haaland.

That wasn't my point. My point was and to the original one that if you're willing to pay the money then yes clubs will let go of a quality asset. There's been plenty of examples. We're simply not willing to but people try and excuse it based on the selling clubs.

Of course there's new ITK on Bale on deadline day. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

We'll sign Bale and still moan about it then "but he's not a number 9"

But it would be true wouldn't it??

What are we a circus or a serious football team tying to balance a side and challenge?

On second thoughts don't answer that I think we all know the answer to that.

I will accept this apology and move on ?

*I jest, and agree.... Money makes the world go round and with the right offer anyone is up for grabs.

And your example doesn't really work because I don't think that Salzburg were willing to let Haaland go in January. He happened to have a release clause.

Anyway, still hoping for any kind of backup striker today. Except the Benteke kind.

KNOCK KNOCK
Levy: ahhh Drags come in, come in. Take a seat, good to see you, good to see you

Dragon1: morning sir, how can I help?

Levy: I need a favour Drags me old china. We've run into a few problems trying to sign Ballotelli, so I'd like you to out out we are back in for Bale. Up the percentage for our entertainment

Dragon1: I don't think they'll buy it this time sir. They'll start with the club PR is rolling out bullshit again

Levy: listen do it or I'll have to bring in Greyfox and try to get him out of retirement and you know he can be a proper cranky little **** in the morning.

Dragon1: ohhh ok

Levy: that's the spirit Drags. Keep me posted on how that went down. If it's a total shitter, around 6pm roll out the Dybala has spoken to JM on the blower. That'll get them wet
