Waiting for things to pop off

I don't know how anyone can be stressed really.

It's the most excited I've been for the start of a new season in a very long time. What a difference a year makes compared to last summer's fiasco!

I'm stressed my late July/August is gonna be dull because we already had our fun

It’s a strange (but great) time to be a Spurs fan.

4 deals in, some good and really bloody sensible deals too.

Quiet weekend and the old jitters appear but sense that things will align in the next 48-72 hours.

After that you sense we’ve a lot of time to embellish the squad and in the event there is a deal to be done that we didn’t anticipate we’re in a pretty good place to be able to do it.

Presume eze and olise is just opinion, fwiw I dislike Maddison but he’s not a bad player at all and would add a lot to the team

Palace would demand similar money (maybe more) that what they sold AWB for Olise and Eze hasn’t done it consistently enough in PL - mainly due to injuries.

Maddison is a great player but didn’t he tweet some unsavoury things about Spurs in the past?

To the squad maybe. Not sure he'd start.

Talented player though. I'd be happy if we could get him for a reasonable price, but they're not letting him go for under 60 I don't reckon, and that feels a lot

Maddison would make a sense. Definitely one of the best HG players on the market.

Can play in the front 3 or be a 3 man midfield option.

I believe he tweeted something like that he hoped Spurs lose to Liverpool because he doesn’t like us and doesn’t see what the big deal is re Bale. Of course, Maddison was 16 at the time so…

I'm not a massive Maddison fan to be honest however I can see how he would make sense especially with the HG situation.
