Nah I don't buy that.

Ive seen enough of Wolves and Traore to know as much as he's always a handful there's no good him creating space and pulling defenders towards him when he can't play the right pass to make it worthwhile.

People will say what a "handful" he was today, he had more of the ball than anyone but did absolutely sod all with it. I was happy to let him have it. As i said before, if he was half decent at scoring or passing or just making the right decison half the time he'd already be playing City or Chelsea.. There's a reason he's still at wolves.

If you had the same views during the match, I need what you're smoking.

Surely we would have to be getting funds from selling N'domb to pursue such a deal( obvs assuming HK staying)

Well, was I wrong? As i've said i've seen more than enough of him to know nothing will come of his dribbles.

Yes he's fast, yes he's powerful, yes he's exciting, but if you'd seen enough of Traore you'd know it very rarely comes to anything.

I get why people would like him here, he is exciting. But knowing our fanbase and how toxic the matchday threads are even when we win, he'd get absolutely destroyed by fans very quickly.

There's only so many times you'll get your arse out your seat for a player like this until you stop because you've realised he isn't going to do anything once he's skinned 2 players..

Adama most certainly won’t be cheap, unless mendes is hugely involved

I was more referring to our transfer targets generally, like the young lad that we're gonna loan back. Just one minute we're gonna make signings to improve the first eleven, and the next we suddenly have faith in last year's flops again.

Not entirely against Traore, but one minute it's Martinez and Vlahovic, then the player's being rumoured to join us are hardly inspiring

I for one am incredibly excited to spunk another £40m on someone who we won't be able to sell in 2 years time. Fantastic business model.

You what. Why would we want to sell our most dynamic winger?

Hmm I dunno. We did that with Ndombele and Lo Celso. We have a Director of Football now to reign in the wishes of the manager (head coach). Not keen on Traore at all.

Director of Football doesn't (or shouldn't) mean the coach isn't consulted at all.

Jeez what is it with you guys we win we were lucky we lose we deserved it
Some of you should do weekly interviews on aftv you sound just like them.

This wasn't directed solely at you but it's almost like none of you can be happy unless there is something to be unhappy about.

2 games
2 wins
0 goals conceded
6 points.
Against tough opposition

Lighten up a bit dude :cautious:
You know what.

You can be happy (as I am), and critise performances of players.

That's the whole point of a forum right?

Defensively we got lucky today. That is a fact. That doesn't mean we didn't show positive elements of our game. We held on. We fought until the end. Those points have been made.

But we were fortunate. That is fact.

He wouldn't be my preference, but I'm not opposed to Traore. The space he generated for others, plus imagine that pace within the front three on the counter like v City last week. Would be a good squad option and we all know we need depth and other threats.

I get the point about Traore occupying players but he's always one of Wolves primary tactics in that regards, would it be the same at Spurs?

Is a manager going to tell their team to double up on the guy who can't hit a barn door, instead of tracking Son or Kane? I guess that might give him licence to do a lot more damage with us... but it will also require him to raise his game in front of goal.

Romero £50m, Gil £25m? Hardly cheap.

As for Sarr I think the direction is to applaud that we have seeming got a highly rated player for such a low fee rather than complain that we’re going for the cheap option.
