I think it’s just more a case of not much really going on atm, at least nothing new or dramatic. We are supposedly looking at three more positions. RWB, CD and AM. The acquisition of Spence seems to be holding up our movement on the AM front and we are probably still hoping, however unlikely, we can get Bastoni or Bremer if PSG don’t pay up for Skriniar. Sort of leaves us in a bit of a dead zone. Or at least, these last few deals are moving at a significantly slower pace in comparison to the first few weeks which is, although sort of a buzz kill after the storm, completely understandable given the apparent complexities of each deal.

It often goes quiet when a pre season tour starts. I doubt we will hear much this week other than Spence which is just dragging from week to week.

This is true, but at least this time we have signed 5 players normally we haven't signed anyone and are desperate for a signing of any sort, so its quite refreshing this time thats its not so urgent now to hear about new signings

Can't wait for the pre-season ITK on how Conte and the coaching staff are viewing the squad or certain players. That's the tastiest.

Nothing groundbreaking. There was high confidence we would of concluded at least two more around today/tomorrow. You can guess to your heart’s content. We had high hopes on a deal out of Italy, which has proved difficult. Selling club was fully on board, but not player.

Seen comments that Conte possibly not happy. And we have not really caught the world alight with let’s say ‘Big name’ signing.

Every single signing has been enthusiastically approved by Conté. Because certain players are media linked elsewhere to our neighbours, we all of a sudden on panic mode. I expect three more signings, including Spence.

He says 3 more including Spence. So Spence, CB to replace Rodon and AM likely as Okeefe said earlier.

Am is the interesting one for sure. Spence and the cb options have been done to death but am also assuming a cheaper cb (bremer) would mean a more expensive am (paqueta) and vice versa, assuming we wait for bastoni.
