I cant imagine Conte not being happy but can imagine him wanting that signing that helps capture the imagination and spur us on. I alluded to it a few weeks back. But three sounds right, including the RWB and CB.

It's the AM I'm the most curious about. The RWB is of course Spence and I don't know who the CB will be but I'm quite relaxed about us defensively, even I do think a certain level of signing there could really elevate us. But the AM could make a hell of a difference to us going forward. Very intrigued as to who is on our list for there.

Am is the interesting one for sure. Spence and the cb options have been done to death but am also assuming a cheaper cb (bremer) would mean a more expensive am (paqueta) and vice versa, assuming we wait for bastoni.

Spence I reckon will happen. I think it’s bold of the club to ‘expect’ three.

Personally I’ll be delighted to end the window with just Spence added. That’s be a 9/10 for me.

But, depending on the quality of the players…

Add another CB, and it’s a 9.6/10

Add another AM and it’s a 10/10.

The info seems to be quite consistent now - whether that’s because it’s an echo chamber or not, who knows.

Also whether three players of requisite quality in the right positions are genuinely available at a price that works

This has been an outstanding window in terms of squad improvement. If we sign even 1-2 more in positions of need (much less 3), this will be a window like no other. (Funny how the ITKs were saying that all along). Many thanks to Hercs, Trix, H88, and others (including JJetset in absentia). Your information this window and last spring continues to add understanding of something near and dear to all of us. COYS.

What @Hercules said aligns with what's been said all along. RWB and CB (wanted for the tour but oh well) and then a CAM later in the window. I'm assuming Bremer was the CB as ITK reported that we had bid more than the other Italian clubs could.
I'm over the moon with this window and pretty sure Paratici has got this for the other targets

We will somehow get all of Conte's wishes through this summer. No doubt... maybe not all of them top targets. But he will get the positions filled that needs strengthening and depth.. with the type of players he wants. That's the most important thing.

We can't expect all of our efforts to succeed and we have to be able to cope with other clubs around us wanting to improve massively as well...
It's the Premier League.

If we are still looking for more signings as the ITKs and journos are reporting, this can only be good for us. No matter what... because our squad already looks super strong 1 month before the season begins. I can't remember us being in a better position so early in the summer.

Bit of perspective, we've signed 5 blooming players before preseason tour! We usually struggle with that a window! As long as we get a RB and shift some we've had a blinder

Watch Conte on tour in training and in press conferences and I challenge anyone who suggests he's unhappy. His comments speak volumes (positively)

We've probably had the best window in the prem so far, in regards to strengthening. I was hoping for more, but I'm greedy.

Not worried at all. Even if we sign no one else, I've got Total faith that Conte will use the parts he has available to create a machine. That's what I love about him. Of course he wants better players, but if he can't get them he'll tweek the system, and make the players available highly functional.

I don't think we are. I actually think, injuries permitting, the squad right now with no additions (possibly right wing back, but I think Doc is such a clever player, and so underrated) is good enough to challenge.

Bissouma is the key signing for me. Man is an absolute beast. He's the type of midfielder who can turn a game on his own, and with our fire power, there's a chance. I'm not deluded enough to think City aren't favourites, but there's a chance.

Exactly what I was trying to say, I think the first few weeks have skewed reality a bit.

Even if it ended now it wouldn’t be a bad window at all

Trust that we get a rb, cm and a cb and I think we are really in business. 4 of the 5 players bought in go into the first 11 as it stands.

For me I don't think we will be transformed into title contenders but I have to say I like our chances of top 3 and being a lot closer to the big 2.
