It was my 13 yr old Daughter's first visit to the Lane today, and just a word of thanks to all in East Lower 31 for making it a fine atmosphere for her to enjoy. Sure she went home hearing certain words she was told never to repeat:grin:, but the sight of her standing up and shouting "Who are ya?" to 2 of her schoolmates sat in the Cheltenham end was one I shall never forget.
Even the doormen of Valentino's made her laugh when he said "Only one pint" to her !!!! Top day all round, thanks.

Your welcome mate, glad you and your daughter enjoyed it and apologies if I occasionally forgot there were a few children around

I remember my first visit, 2-1 win against Sunderland a few years ago. I literally had cold shivers up my spine when we sang "oh when the Spurs go marching on".

Magical

Maybe a little biased, but I think our club and especially its supporters are just a little bit more special than others.

Never have I felt more part of a family than when on SC, interacting with people on here on Facebook, or when actually at WHL. The Tottenham football family is so welcoming, and there is a genuine special bond between us all.

Long may it continue and I hope it feels the same when I take my wee man for the first time.

I remember my first visit as if it was yesterday, 3-2 win against Sheff Wed. Ginola, Dominguez and Armstrong the scorers, i loved every minute of it. Unfortunately I have been once since then purely because I don't have the money for tickets and travel, it'll work out too expensive for me. But i can still remember my first visit though.

I've been desperately attempting to forget my first visit. Game ended 0-0, the only interesting thing to happen was Jason Dozzell finding himself one on one with the keeper and then opting to run into Neville Southall. :-|

Anyway, glad the OPs daughter enjoyed herself. From what I heard on the radio it seemed to be a friendly atmosphere with good banter being exchanged.

I'm really disappointed that I can't remember my first game. I was only about 5 and it was 41 years ago.

My first game was a UEFA cup game against Feyenoord (91/92 season iirc)

Can remember Lineker missing late on to take it to extra time (my memory's shocking, so may be wrong!)

Got pretty nasty outside after ther game. About 300 Feyenoord nutters charged at about 100 horse mounted police. Carnage!!!

This is what the true magic of The F.A. Cup is all about.

Saw loads of kids talking it about it being their first game yesterday.

Couple sat in front of me, one little lad couldn't have been older than 6, kept singing "Come on you yid army"

Magical first visit to White Hart Lane!

Hopefully our new generation of fans won't have to suffer decades of disappointment like we have!

I sometimes wonder what I've got my two sons (aged almost 6 and almost 4) into... I'm optimistic that they will see years of us doing well and competiting at the top level!
