Chimbo or Zokora at RB to deal with the pace of Young. Keane and Pav up front. Rest picks itself.

Yeah, really dont understand the 'Random' inclusion of bale. Looks like everyone has jumped on the bandwagon.

What has he done remotely good recently to even warrant the thought of a starting place?

It would be like me preferring Campbell over Pav or Bent. It just doesnt make sense.

if no surprise injuries, i think there are no surprise changes

Gomes
Corluka - Woodgate - King - Ekotto
Lennon - Jenas - Palacios - Modric
Pav - Keane

Cudicini, Dawson, Zokora, Hudd, O'Hara, Bentley, Bent

* although i would pick Bale a head of Hudd, but HR don't like him, and i think if he pick Chimbonda ahead of him.

* if it is up to me:

Gomes
Corluka - Woodgate - King - Ekotto
Jenas - Palacios - O'Hara
Keane - Modric
Pav

Cudicini, Dawson, Zokora, Hudd, Lennon, Bale, Bent

Lennon for O'Hara, Bent for Pav in second half, to kill them with pace in 2nd half when they are tired.

What, after we're already 3 or 4-0 down?

I'm glad you're not in charge.

Somewhat harsh. Not that I agree with the formation, or inclusion of O'Hara over Lennon, or ignoring the threat of Villa's wing play by playing a narrow midfield and leaving Corluka up against Young. But 3 or 4 nil?

Personally I think Redknapp will stick with:

Gomes
Corluka King Woodgate BAE
Lennon Palacios Jenas Modric
Keane Pavluychenko

I wouldn't argue with that other than I think Bent has strong case for starting over Pav.

i just find corluka a bit idle, lacks bite, i think he has talent but can be very much like hudd, i've seen jenas have to chase back to cover the RB position and run past corluka on the way, and hes just jogging along. for me its either chimbonda or zokora at RB, other than that i agree with your team

:clap: I am glad I am not the only one that shares the same view about Charlie .... He is a liability ! He will be the one that costs us the game today, if he plays ..

Zokora's man marking abilities are exceptionally bad. He gives the wide men far too much room and relies on his pace to compensate. He will be exposed against a winger with real pace.

Now what did I tell you?

Yeah well done. Except he has had Ronaldo and others in his pocket when playing RB in the past. It was a bad game.
