We're so technically poor. Wolves can let Dier, Sanchez and Davies have the ball all day long because they carry minimal threat. It's time to give Lenglet a run.

Son is in truly abysmal form as well, you have to give him patience after how good he's been for the last few seasons but his bottom level is absolute garbage.

That was terrible again. Get Bissouma and Richarlison on asap to bring some energy. Everyone is so flat footed, just waiting for the ball to come to them. The front 3 have been atrocious, especially Son. Lucky not to be behind here, but that luck wont last unless we sort it out.

Gonna be a long season. We are just so predictable and easy to play against as you know exactly what we are gonna do.

people insult odegaard and jesys etc but I’d kill for those sort of players right now.

Writing was on the wall last week and wolves have set up the same. It’s simple awful and every manager will set up the same against us

Like last week, it's impossible even for top tier world class players to play on the turn if you've got the opposition right up ya pressing with intent. Teams play an extra midfielder so can go man for man press on our two CM's with one mopping up. Chelsea last week, same this week, knowing our patterns of play and where we want to play the ball through.

But if they're pinning down the centre mids, someone else has to do something different. Ping a pass into the front from the back, centre backs carrying the ball forward through the initial lines of defence, etc, or simply just do the patterns of "up, back, through" better... We have to find the solutions.

And that's been our issue in these types of games...

We just haven't been great at finding solutions.

Lets see 2nd half

We should not be having to change our formation to cope with Wolves at home. Our front 3 have been abysmal in terms of energy. Our midfield aren’t keeping the ball effectively enough, both our wingbacks haven’t offered threat and Dier is constantly making stupid dinked passes over the top whenever he carries the ball out of defence. We’ve got one of the best front 3’s in Europe and Wolves defence have been on the beach so far. If you can’t be the better side in this game we may as well abandon 343 completely because everyone is going to just play all their ball players against us after these last 7 days.
I think that’s disrespectful to Wolves mate they’re not relegation fodder and they stifle most teams tactically.

I get what you mean though our plan A should be good enough, but I think it needs more penetration from the wing backs to be consistently effective
