I don't believe that to be honest. Showed enough in the last 20 mins when we started getting on the ball more that we can be an attacking threat.

I missed the opening 30 minutes when it appears we were run over but the rest of the match wasn't too bad considering how our season has panned out.

Sanchez looked World Class - so assured. Makes you wonder why some games he looks like a drunk baby giraffe.

Lo Celso is our best player by a long way. Maybe if Ndombele can fulfil his potential then it might be a battle between them for that honour.

Lucas was Lucas - servicable but just lacks cutting edge consistently. Bergwijn needs to be surrounded by a decent midfield which we don't have at the moment.

Serge was Serge. Davies was Davies with a Serge moment. We need upgrades. We know it.

I hope that by the end of the season we see a gameplan emerge. A clear identity. Because I can't see it yet. At least Mourinho is getting them to fight it out but it's not enough.

Was obvious Mourinho's plan was to play very defensively without our best two attackers. Was quite ok soaking up the pressure and without the penalty, RB would not have scored. A 0-0 would have been another master class from Mourinho.

I thought the players gave a reasonable account of themselves today. There were none who I’d say were going through the motions and couldn’t be arsed.

Lucas, Alli, Aurier didn’t have great games but they were trying. Serge especially, he always does, even if he often gets it wrong.

Yeah Dele ran a lot but that doesn't change the fact that we were much better when he went off.

All it acheived was surrender the entire midfield 3rd to Leipzig, and then expect Winks (who I think is woefully average, at best), LoCelso (who is best in a 3 imo), and Gedson to play as right wing cover for Aurier!!

Dele needs to stop sulking when he’s subbed. If he can’t recognise he’s being consistently subbed because he’s mostly ineffective then he’s either too self absorbed or too stupid
