I never feel comfortable when we play this sit, soak and counter Jose style. Even when we grab a goal it still feels like we’re on the back foot and under pressure. I suppose we were a lot more comfortable today after the goal but still...

You want to take off the one player who has given us some control in midfield so we can get some control in midfield?

Lamela's been at the heart of every decent piece of play we've strung together hasn't he?

Feel like I'm watching a different game sometimes.

We've really not controlled the midfield. We're playing predominantly counter-attacking and allowing Manu to have 62% possession to our 38% and though Lamela is pressing Manu, the entire Manu team is pressing us, which is bound to lead to more pressure on the CM's and defense.

Lloris done well, stopped what he had to

Dier and Davies have been very good, Davies has read crosses and cut them out really well.

Sanchez is the one player who really has been iffy.

Bergwijn and Aurier are being given acres of space by Shaw, no idea why United haven't changed tactics to stop that yet but good for us obviously.

Lamela is peak Lamela today and we desperately need that bite in games like this as long as he doesn't go completely OTT.

Overall we've stuck to our plan very well so far which is pleasing. We're not in top gear but I was expecting much worse.
