Really solid first half. We look fit and hungry which bodes well. Have looked a little ragged defending in front of box at times but that will come if our form does. Looked the most balanced I’ve seen under Jose.

Not bad overall with bright sparks from our 3 attacking minds. Kane pretty non existent but I assume he'll be dragging defenders out of position at least

Dare I say we have looked solid defensively after the goal? Winks, Sissoko + Dier and Sanchez are making it incredibly hard to find any space through the middle. Winks was even man marking Fernandes these last 10 minutes.

Also Lamela has been great. Especially defensively. He is everywhere. Kane and Son looks a bit out of pace, which is understandable considering the amount of the time they have been out.

Bruno looks good. Lot of quality players in this United team tbh. Probably my second favourite PL squad after our own.

Same. I think it's because we're in similar positions and with squads that mix youth / experience / english players. They play good football when they can.

Would like us to sub in either GLC or Ndombele for Lamela just so we can control the midfield.

Lamela's been at the heart of every decent piece of play we've strung together hasn't he?

It's only been 45 minutes, but great seeing Hugo looking solid again.

Solid performance here, got better as the half went on, Utd not really threatening despite them having the majority of the ball.

We'll be better when we have Lo Celso and/or Ndombele I'm midfield, ball retention will be much better in midfield and once we free those forwards we can do some damage.

If we would've got Bruno Fernandes that would've really solved the issue we have now where no one seems to command the midfield. Hopefully Ndombele steps up at one point

Bruno hardly controls the midfield, he's a very good attacking midfielder, but not one that links everything together from back to front.

As good a half as we've played under Mourinho. Fair play to Winks, Sissoko and the CBs - I was very doubtful prematch but they've all done well.
