It was a penalty, though a harsh one. But they game managed, time wasted after the second minute, intent on killing the game, and the ref let them do it. That for me is whats frustrating. We didn't watch a game of football. The ball was barely in play.They didn't cheat, it was a penalty, they won. Deal with it.

At one point Liverpool had a corner but before there was a substitution which takes about twenty seconds or so. James Milner didn't move from around the half way line until the substitution was finished.
The throw ins were crazy as well, and liverpool kicking the ball away on a few occasions.
I hate this because it ruined the match, and the ref did nothing about it, just prompting liverpool to take it. Honestly, I do not see why this just isn't talked about.
If Alexander Arnold got booked early it would have been a completely different game. I just don't get why referees are so reluctant to do it.
