There's a few threads we could visit but this is the sensible one.

At 3-2 and for roughly 60-70 minutes I thought comfortably that it was our worst performance so far this season in the league. It was a more exciting game for a neutral but the technical performance from the players was poor and erratic. Then Conte brings on Bissouma and the rest is history really. Conte been catching some heat from people recently, well he changed the game with his substitutions, he showed a different option with the 3-5-2 and my word did we look so much better with Bissouma on the pitch, excellent work from Hojbjerg and Bentancur to take advantage with the pressing and the counters, admittedly some credit goes to Leicester being terrible.

This is all before we get to Sonny who let people who doubt him in no uncertain terms where they can go, 2 world class finishes. Extremely happy for him, extremely happy to see Bissouma come in and give that performance, extremely happy that Conte is the one who should get the plaudits for the tactical shift and very happy to see the appearance of the 3-5-2.

That final 20 minutes was fantastic to witness.

Given how streaky he is, Son could easily go on a run now. Would transform our out options if he’s in form

They've finished 5th, 5th and 8th and win the fa cup and you're writing him of as a premier League manager?

The two 5th places were very narrow and unlucky too (one of those two seasons was particularly injury-hit, iirc). He's done a very good job there I think and he's had players sold out from under him. It might be time for him to go because that happens with every manager eventually but that doesn't somehow make his tenure a failure.

Sons goals obviously changed the game. So pleased for him.

However, Bissauma coming on and changing to a 3 man midfield won that game. We looked so much more comfortable with that extra midfielder and looked just as dangerous on the counter.

Would leave us with a dangerous bench with Kulu and Richarlison to come on.

Could go even more attacking and play Kulu at RWB

Let's not be thrown by the scoreline here. For the first 70 mins we didn't play well. Think Conte will be unhappy with that. Leicester are an absolute shambles and if we played in third gear I think this is a 4-0 win for us but we were almost as bad as they were. They caused us so many problems and didn't have to work hard to do so.

Ultimately we just outlasted them and had the bench firepower to blast through them. The formation change helped too. PEH (my player of the season) and the wing backs were poor, Hugo and the attackers bailed us out. But hey...nice to see some goals! Rodgers out tonight I reckon.

Just pushing everyone 10 yards up the pitch makes such a difference. It’s obviously what Conte wants them to do but I can’t understand letting them have the whole of the middle of the pitch. First half they were allowed to play and to win every second ball. Second half was a different story again.

Nice one Sonny!!! So happy for him.
Bizarre score line, considering the performance for large chunks of the game. Looked much better with Bissouma and the extra man in midfield I thought.

3pts. Joint top.....COYS!!

Can we please play more like the second half from now on. Please? The too kool for skool aloofness isn't doing it for me.

Pleased for Sonny, hopefully the front 3 start clicking as a unit now.

He finished 9, 5, 5, 8 with Leicester and won a cup. That's a very good record.

Those 2 fifth placed finishes include them losing out on 4th on the last game both times if I remember correctly.

We did last season away to Leicester and Pool. Good results and performance too. Amazing he hasn't used it more
Oh yes good memory so we did. Yea I’m also suprised he’s not used it a bit more often mid game or against certain opponents, mabye after today he will consider it a little more where needed.
