He's a good manager who's had the rug pulled out from under him. Sure, he's full of himself, but so are plenty of top coaches. He's nowhere near done at thr top level.
Respectfully Disagree. He's failed to deliver consistently . I'd be surprised if he got another prem gig from a notable team.

Good news.

I’ve been too scared to take Son out of my FPL team because that was always going to happen eventually.

He’s been my captain since the start.

Imagine ole passing at the end after we couldn't pass for toffee first half.

Great win and keeps the GD up. Well happy for Sonny. Never doubted him. But that's why we now have the options. We can bring him on if needed.

Wish it wasn't international break now.

For me we played like Man U from a few seasons back. Utter shite but just have the firepower up front to do the damage and hide a multitude of sins.

He’ll get minimal credit for it on here of course, but Conte bringing on Bissouma and switching to 3 in midfield flipped the game on its head.

i don’t think he will get minimal credit, we’ve all been asking for him to change it up, he did - and we absolutely steam rollered them. Irs now whether he sticks with it.

There should not be any "ole" at all. This is very far from champagne football.
Papered over cracks but Son returning to form/regaining confidence is a huge plus for us, as is hopefully a more included role for Bissouma moving forward.

Nevertheless, no point dwelling on the negatives tonight - that can wait - we should just savour some superb goals and being joint top going into the international break.

Theyve played well and pressed us well.

Fortunately, a typical Rodgers team can be so easy to play through.

It's why I was getting so frustrated first half as I felt we were getting closer to scoring a 3rd and then we just fell back

They are able to do one facet of the game to a reasonable standard (and we are very easy to press against) the rest of their game is utter trash.

For me this goes down as one of the most fucked up games of football I've ever seen.

I can't remember a time we've won by 4 goals or scored 6 but for it to be accompanied with what was for very large periods, a really poor performance. So strange.

Still think something has to change going forward, really hope 3-5-2 is to be used more.
