It was a decent performance and not getting carried, we have been here... but that was an enjoyable game and was noticeable we took our foot off the gas after the 5th which was fine... Manure away is a huge game.

I do think we were sloppy with our passing at times though which we need to iron out but was an enjoyable game. Stress free.

Obviously Kane was amazing but there were so many great performances tonight.

Doherty was superb, the ball for Kane's second was perfect.

Bentencur and PEH were incredible in the middle.

Kulusevski, is the real deal. What a player. He is so intelligent he just gets the game. He is the final piece of the front 3.

Gives me confidence against rangnicks utd this weekend. He wont do what ole did and play a back 5 so hopefully will be lots of space to destroy utds crap defence.

I'm still in the stadium as I type this .. wow Doherty. He was superb. I was actually laughing at how good he was. His passing and tackling was ridiculous.

Bentancur too. What a difference he makes. He is always available when our defenders our under pressure. Proper class.

why is sheringham such a prick?

Always has been in my eyes. Mentioned it a few times, but younger me sent him a letter and his favourite Match poster, and teddy was too busy smoking and hanging out the back of models to acknowledge it.

I took it maturely. Only issue is I was maybe 10 at the time, so I took it like an 11 year old and still bear a grudge :ROFLMAO:

Kulu and Bentancur are made for this league.
Yeah - in that sense they're like the complete opposite of Lo Celso and Ndombele. When we signed those 2 the talent was there for everyone to see but not once did either of them ever look like they were a natural fit for English football. They both had short patches of brilliance but game by game they never convinced.

Kulu and Bentancur on the other hand have both hit the ground running and gelled into the team and the league immediately. Kulu almost seems to thrive off the physicality and his body strength is a huge asset here, while Bentancur certainly doesn't mind getting stuck in.

It's hard to describe why exactly but you can just tell that they are suited to the league...it feels natural somehow.

Quite. First answer post match, gave no credit to anyone bar Kane. What a dick. Used to be my hero as a kid, I saw him in Glasgow airport a few months back, half wish I’d given him a slap across the chops

Not one mention of Kulu so far post match
