We were minutes from going out in the group stages. We are the only team ever to have lost 2 group games and got to the semi final.

Theyve all said we wouldnt this and we wouldnt that.

But we have and we did.

Have some fucking belief.

We will.....

Surprised Ajax looked happy to take a 1-0. If they had piled on the pressure we were there for the taking.

We were as bad as I can remember going forward today. Horrendous crossing, no composure whatsoever, countless loose passes and bad decisions in the final third.

After that first half I'm just glad we're still in the tie. If Son is on it we'll have a chance.

We dominated after Sissoko came on. Too bad we didn't convert that into goals, hopefully Son will do that next week. 1-2 and we're through.

The referee laughing at their keeper time wasting like it was some sort of joke. There's a conspiracy in there somewhere. Fucked if I'm trying to find it though. Dogshit display
It's just culturally an acceptable part of the game in Spain, like all of the other antics you see every week

Pretty shocking whatever happens in the second leg we need new creative players in the summer its totally obvious..

Poch also what is he thinking midfield already weak and he plays three at the back and Dele in midfield...

Trippier and Lorente useless.. I could go on but its just depressing how we nearly always start so slowly

Down to the bare bones. Zero creativity and big players simply not with it.
Please let us beat Bournemouth and get something against Everton.

Would have been better to have lost by three or four goals tonight to put an end to the tie and allow us to concentrate on the remaining two league games. We are not going to win the Champions League, these professional players couldn’t step up for a semi final and it’s another bottle job, year after year.

saved by the post. not having son for the match cost us.
Plus. No Kane or Winks or signings in January.

Our bench tonight should be an embarrassment for the club structure we have now.
Was it Skipp or Dier that was the most attacking player there?
Bringing on a CB and a defensive minded LB with 10 to go, arghhhkkk.

This season has caught up with us.

Poor performance and feels like we got away with it somewhat, especially with them hitting the post. Just don't understand the 3 at the back when we were much better of beefing up the midfield. Was a poor performance but think have to question Poch on the setup at the start. At home and starting 3 at the back when they are playing Tadic up there who is more a floater. Just feels like we've given them that first leg and handed over the advantage.

it’s not over, but we can’t afford to go out there and shit our pants like we usually do away from home.

Sonny back is great - not sure he will cure all our ills though. we’ve a lot of players not performing at the moment.

They certainly were in the first half. Went a bit Arsenal in the second half. If we beat them in the second leg no one will remember the first 45 here.

I said I’d take 0-3 in first 35 mins
0-1 is almost palatable, almost!
